Colton Underwood CONFIRMS relationship with boyfriend Jordan C. Brown by throwing a surprise birthday party for his 'love'

Colton Underwood threw a surprise birthday party for his boyfriend, Jordan C. Brown, on Friday night.

The 29-year-old former Bachelor lead's show of affection was documented by several of their friends on Instagram, and the political strategist was notably seen blowing out the candles on a birthday cake.

Colton further confirmed his relationship with his boyfriend by sharing several photos of the two to his Instagram Story on Saturday.

Underwood and Brown were initially romantically linked after they were spotted vacationing in Hawaii earlier this year.

He was previously in a relationship with Olympian Aly Raisman, which came to an end in 2017.

The former athlete later began dating Cassie Randolph, whom he met while they were appearing on The Bachelor.

The pair dated for two years before they eventually went their separate ways in 2020.

The reality television personality was later granted a restraining order against Underwood after she alleged he planted a tracking device on her car and sent her threatening texts.

The media figure later began seeing Brown and the two confirmed their relationship on Saturday.

The former athlete recently spoke to People and told the media outlet that he did not expect to begin a relationship after his split from Randolph.

'I wasn't really pursuing dating at first. But since then I found somebody and I am very much in love,' he said.

The reality television personality also spoke about the pitfalls of dating in the public eye and how he was excited about keeping his new relationship withheld from the media. 

'After The Bachelor, I learned the boundaries and healthiness of having a private relationship, Everybody went through my breakup and the ups and downs of my dating life. It's nice for me to have something for myself,' he said.

He notably described Brown as a 'great support' and noted that 'I'm the luckiest person to have him in my life.'

Underwood then noted that he previously faced much difficulty in coming to terms with his sexuality, although he eventually became comfortable with accepting who he was.

'I was struggling with my sexuality but I had such a level of fear over being gay. Now that I've been out to myself for a year, it's the healthiest and happiest I've ever felt. And there is nothing I would ever want to be but gay,' he said.

The media figure made a point of expressing that he was looking forward to his future with Brown.

'I had so many twists and turns to get to where I am now. I'm still learning and I'm still growing. But I'm not trying to trick myself anymore with the idea that I could force myself to be straight,' he said. 

He added: 'And for the first time in my life, I'm hopeful that I'm on the right path.'
