The “lipat-bakod” of ex-Hashtags member Jon Lucas finally confirmed
Former Hashtags member Jon Lucas previously rumored to be transferring to GMA 7 and his “lipat-bakod” was finally confirmed on July 2.
Jon was formerly part of the all-male group which originated from Kapamilya noontime show It’s Showtime.
However, speculations circulated that he will transfer to the Kapuso network after he posted a series of controversial posts on Twitter in September 2018.
With this, netizens speculate that the fact that he is now a father affected his career. It can be recalled that in August 2018, the actor-dancer confirmed that he now has a baby and introduced his partner to the public.
The “lipat-bakod” rumor was confirmed just recently as Jon Lucas was spotted walking out the main entrance of GMA7 Annex Studios.
He was with Katrina Aguila, athe daughter of talent manager Becky Aguila who is now handling the showbiz career of Jon.
Based on the report from PEP, the photo was taken after the actor-dancer signed a contract with GMA Artist Center who is now co-managing Jon Lucas’ career.
His first project under the Kapuso network is the Pinoy version of the popular K-drama series Descendants of the Sun, based on the report.
Jon started his showbiz career when he joined the Star Magic Circle back in 2013. He was just 17 back then and was a university basketball player.
He also joined pageants but his friends encouraged him to pursue a career in acting.
One of his first acting stint in ABS-CBN was in Kahit Konting Pagtingin. He played the role of the younger brother of Angeline Quinto.
