We visited Jomfru Ane Gade on a couple of occasions, once at night when it was in full swing and the second time was the morning after the night before. It is one of Denmark's best known streets and where the city likes to party. There are plenty of bars and restaurants and a few seedy places here and there, it is either a place that is either loved or loathed but we liked it.

If you are under 25 and wants the best party in Denmark, this is the place to go.
In the daytime there sare some restaurants at low prices and fair standard, in the evening i's a large disco and party area.

In the middel og the walking strevet and paryty strevet, but the noise cama from the naboring roms that had a party all nigth. Would be great in th e hotel asked them to be more quiet.

I can only imagine the parties going on here during summer time.
Covid only left the Old Irish Pub and one more pub open and everything else closed.
But those were full of young people - mostly soccer fans this Sunday as the local team had played (even though they lost 0-4 to FCN).

There are not many choices in Aalborg if you wanna go out at night, and the easiest is to turn to the infamous Jomfru Ane Gade. It's a string of bars and clubs, in an rather cramped little street in midtown. Mostly the clientel are chavs and brute people looking for trouble. It is the provinsial hellhole of Denmark. Do yourself a favour and take the one hour drive south to Aarhus, where the choices are multiple of those in Aalborg, and in Aarhus there is actually something for everybody, and chavs are nowhere to be seen.

I am aware that students need to go out and have fun somewhere in the city, but after midnight this street becomes the most disgusting place I have ever been. Brainless people everywhere! Watch out!

It has been many years since I last were in Jomfru Ane Gade, but that was probably good.
The street now consists of run-down establishments competing on prices, and strip joints have also popped up = this place is going one way only: Down
Having lived in Aalborg my whole life, it is really a sad sight to see what was once a lively street of restaurants and bars/nightclubs.
Try instead some of the bars and places - this street is not worth a visit anymore. Not by a long shot.

Tha party street but really more like a runned down brothel street. Cheap beer and food. Muuch better resturants a few block away.

who consider it a sports to get drunk in the shortest possible time and puke in the street. the Aalborg red light district. Withoiut the hookers.
