Fortnite: 10 Forgotten Things That Got Vaulted

Players may not remember these wacky items that eventually got vaulted throughout Fortnite's history.

Fortnite x John Wick will see players take on the iconic role of the titular character, complete with some newly added styles and cosmetics. If players are to purchase John Wick then they will get access to 4 variant styles, showcasing John Wick’s time from Chapter 1 all the way to Chapter 4.

How To Get John Wick

John Wick was first released in Fortnite on June 28, 2019. Yet, despite over 20 appearances in the Fortnite Item Shop, John Wick has not appeared in 1,000 days. To celebrate this milestone for one of the rarest Item Shop skins in Fortnite, John Wick has returned to the surprise and celebration of many players and fans of the series and character. John Wick returned to the Fortnite Item Shop on December 21, 2023, at 7 PM ET.

Players can head to the Item Shop and purchase John Wick, although they might want to do so fast, as there is no telling when he will leave, or when he will return. Just for the John Wick outfit, players will need 2,000 V-Bucks, making it a fairly pricey skin thanks to its unique character model and Legendary rarity, but the 4 styles make up for it.

John Wick Bundle (2,400 V-Bucks)

Saving 900 V-Bucks, players can pick up the John Wick bundle fo 2,400 V-Bucks, which grants them the following items:

  • Wick's Katana (back bling & pickaxe)
  • John Wick (outfit with 4 styles)
  • Simple Sledge (exclusive pickaxe)
  • Assassin Pack (back bling comes with John Wick)
  • Assassin (exclusive wrap)

For John Wick fans, this is an amazing deal, as 2 of these items are only available within the bundle, meaning players are spending less V-Bucks to get all of these items than if they were to just buy the skin and the Wick's Katana separately.

John Wick (2,000 V-Bucks)

Every action has consequences.

As the first Fortnite outfit to be made after a real-life person, the John Wick skin is beloved more than just for that fact, as players love running around as Keanu Reeves’ iconic assassin character, the Baba Yaga. John Wick comes with 4 variants, the first, being the default, and features John Wick in a black suit with a white shirt, and his wedding ring still visible. His hair is slicked back and shorter than the other variants.

Damaged (Style)

This variant comes with the original John Wick skin and features John Wick in a more ruined look. His suit is tattered, covered in cuts, rips, and bullet holes. His face has bruises and cuts, and his hair is a mess, which flops about as John Wick jumps around the battlefield causing more death than the reaper.

Bowery Black (Style)

The Bowery Black is an extra style for John Wick to those who have purchased the skin. It came after the update to Chapter 5, Season 1, and features John Wick finally in his iconic Baba Yaga outfit, which has John wearing an all-black suit, blending perfectly with the death that he portrays and provides to all. It also includes his ring finger missing, in reference to when he had to cut it off.

High Table Duel (Style)

The final and fourth style of John Wick is the High Table Duel, which has John Wick from Chapter 4 feature in his suit fit for a wedding or a funeral, the perfect attire to wear in his final duel against Cain to try and get out from under the high table. This suit features a nice black jacket, tie, and vest, with a white shirt. His hair is noticeably longer, and his ring finger is gone.

Assassin Pack Back Bling (Comes With John Wick)

If players purchase the John Wick outfit, they will be granted the Assassin Pack for free. This Back Bling works great with John Wick, and it allows the famed hitman to wear a duffle bag filled with guns, lots of guns.

Wick’s Katana Pickaxe & Back Bling (500 V-Bucks)

For when your target is wielding a blade and you run out of ammo.

Everyone remembers the Kinetic Blade, a powerful weapon that caused grand damage in Fortnite Chapter 4. Yet, John Wick doesn’t need a Kinetic Blade, but he won’t say no to a katana, which has a look similar to what he briefly wields in John Wick: Chapter 4. This blade is sheathed when worn as a Back Bling, but whoever wears this Back Bling can unsheathe it to pull out the delicate blade and use it as a Pickaxe.

Simple Sledge Pickaxe (John Wick Bundle Exclusive)

simple sledge pickaxe

A professional's tool of choice.

This Harvesting Tool is part of the John Wick Set and will be released alongside John Wick for a separate purchase. The Simple Sledge may not hold any relevance for some players, but to John Wick, it means returning to his old life, as this sledgehammer was used to get his old gear back.

Bulletproof Emote (200 V-Bucks)

bulletproof emote

Brush it off.

This Uncommon emote is part of the John Wick set, and players can use it to slap their chest with their left hand and cause bullets to drop from their outfit. Whilst this emote can be used with any skin regardless of character model, if they are to use it with the John Wick (Damaged) style, the bullets stuck in John Wick’s suit will fall out.

Be Seeing You (200 V-Bucks)

be seeing you emote

Not if I see you first.

There isn’t anything majorly special about this emote, as it just features the player pointing at their eye and then forward, in reference to John Wick’s conversation with Ares in John Wick Chapter 2.

Lights Out (400 V-Bucks)

lights out emote

Show them that you mean business.

A new emote to feature in Fortnite with the John Wick collab, Lights Out features a character respectfully taking a lit candle and blowing it out, a homage to the scene in John Wick: Chapter 4 where the titular character does so in honor of his late wife.

Assassin Wrap (300 V-Bucks)

assassin wrap

This weapon and vehicle wrap is desired by many for the fact that it has a black texture, unlike most wraps. Its design and texture are actually made after John Wick’s 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 car, which is one of the reasons he comes out of retirement and gets himself involved in the ensuing chaos to begin with.

Wick's Bounty Exclusive Items

With the release of the John Wick skin, Fortnite started a limited-time mode on May 16, 2019, where players could compete in Chapter 1, Season 9's Wick's Bounty mode. Whilst playing this mode, players could complete quests for unique rewards, ones that sadly have not returned with John Wick to be introduced to the Item Shop. This means that the following items remain as part of the John Wick set, but are exclusive to the Wick's Bounty LTM that is unavailable.

Gold Token Back Bling (Wick's Bounty Exclusive)

Out of unity comes strength.

The Continental Coins are famed across the John Wick universe for being the currency of all dealings under and above the High Table. Anything and everything can be purchased using the Continental Coin, and now players can wield this Gold Token on their back, as long as they have completed the Wick’s Bounty LTM Challenges, meaning they can’t get it after Chapter 1, Season 9.

Boogeyman Wrap (Wick's Bounty Exclusive)

boogeyman wrap

Despite being part of the John Wick Set, the Boogeyman wrap is an unfortunate wrap that is lost to time due to the fact that it is an exclusive item from Chapter 1, Season 9. The Boogeyman Wrap is beloved for its sleek all-black color, but as part of the Wick’s Bounty LTM, it is unavailable to acquire.

One Shot Glider (Wick's Bounty Exclusive)

one shot glider

Assassin’s choice.

Sadly, the One Shot umbrella glider in Fortnite is locked and will not be available in the Item Shop. If players wanted to get this John Wick glider, then they would need to win a match of the Wick’s Bounty Limited Time Mode, or complete challenges within Wick’s Bounty way back in Chapter 1, Season 9.

Sofia Outfit (1,500 V-Bucks)

sofia from john wick set

The assassin’s assassin.

Another skin as part of the John Wick Set is Sofia, a character featured heavily in John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum. Sofia arrived with John Wick upon the original release of the skin in Chapter 1, Season 9, but she seems to be a rare addition, as she did not return alongside John Wick in Chapter 5, Season 1, despite being a part of the set.

Gun Bag Back Bling (Comes With Sofia)

Players can get themselves the Gun Bag Back Bling if they have purchased Sofia. This Back Bling is rather stylish, with a gun and a blade poking from within the zipper, fitting perfectly on Sofia, or anyone’s, back.

When Will John Wick Return To The Item Shop?

Like most skins, and especially collabs in Fortnite, it’s a guessing game as to when skins will truly return. Whilst there is not a definitive answer, the John Wick skin released in the Fortnite item shop on December 21, 2023. Yet, whether it will return after that date is uncertain, especially with how the skin hasn’t seen a return to the Item Shop before this date since March 25, 2021, almost 3 years since. As for Sofia, it seems as if she has stayed in the vault this time.
