Great food and service! The only negative is the 90 minute table limit. I would have ordered a few more drinks but we were encouraged nicely but sternly to give up our table. They do have a sign posted stating this as you enter-I didn’t notice it as we were quickly whisked away to our table for our 4:15 reservation. The blueberry refresher drink was top notch!

Awesome sea bass! Everyone was very happy with their food! Excellent service. The tables are so close it’s a bit claustrophobic but I understand the need to fill the restaurant to be profitable. Prices are a bit high. Overall excellent

Service was amazing. 2 people got steaks, neither cooked to temperature requested, but fixed and tasted good. Brussel sprouts, scallops and sea bass were amazing. A bit warm before the sun went down. Once it did it was fantastic.

Always a great place to go before a show at the Orpheum. The menu selections are outstanding and everything has such great flavor. The drinks were wonderful as well.

We had the Cali Double Cheeseburger (upgraded to truffle fries), Chicken Cordon Bleu, Perfect Pear Martini, and an Old Fashioned. All were beautifully presented and tasted wonderful. Our server, Fal (sp?) was wonderfully welcoming. It was a bit warm from the sun, but it felt very nice coming in from the freezing cold. Other than a few very tiny bugs flying around our table (not sure why?), the atmosphere was lovely.

The food was excellent, as was the service. We were dining before attending a show at a nearby theater. We allowed plenty of time, but the service was also very efficient, so we had no problem getting to the show on time. The only downside was the sun, which was in the eyes of the two of us facing west. But I’m not sure anything can be done about that - it’s a fully glassed-in restaurant, including the ceiling.

Service was good, waitress was attentive, kind, and patient. Bottomless mimosas were perfect, sampler was tasty. A little issue w/ one of the entrees but staff corrected quickly. Food was fine, nothing extraordinary, a bit pricey for the basic-ness of the menu and flavor. Bussers were too quick to clear plates that were full of food, when silverware was not in hand. Overall a fine place for brunch.

This is s our first time in Minnesota and we came across this place when we were just strolling through the city in Epic Sunny March weather. Our waitress was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and helped us choose our food and drinks.

I have the worst experience it was my bday poor service not a customer service people were mean and seems like the do races isn’t right don’t ever go back there I won’t recommend this restaurant at all

Great downtown restaurant with excellent food, high quality services and wonderful views/atmosphere! This is one of our favorites to visit before seeing a show at the Orpheum Theatre.

UNION was a great time. Marie, our server, was attentive and so sweet. We were visiting from Chicago and will definitely be back again in the summer to use the outside rooftop!

My husband and I were on a date night, and we had heard great things about Union Rooftop, so we wanted to try it. It was a cool atmosphere- elevator up to the roof, intimate and cozy tables, and great views of the city. We ordered the Steak Filet and the Ribeye. They were probably the best we have ever had. So delicious! We will be back.

A shorter individual sorry didnt get their pronouns, I assumed to be a woman with shorter brown hair working (02/24/24) 6:38pm at the rooftop host stand with the taller young woman with brown straight hair was quite unprofessional. I was asked to wait 30+ minutes with a reservation while others were seated (as in literally everyone else). I just think there is great opportunity as it pertains to the operations of this establishment. I asked about the time left after we waited for a while as well as pointed out the multiple open tables and the person with shorter hair said those are already promised reservation ..again I have a reservation during this entire conversation..the person with shorter hair claimed to be the manager and shared there is a 16 person birthday party coming that paid a $1,500 deposit....why is that relevant, any of my business and or why would I care if I supposedly had my own reservation. I do understand operations and things happen but the lack of professionalism from these 2 people was actually pretty impressive. The woman with the longer brown hair slammed the plates on the table clearly frustrated but yes very odd. I currently work at a Luxury Hotel and trust me I don't believe I'd be advising any of my guests to try this place anytime soon. Very unfortunate because I often frequented the drag shows (as in last week's show) but trust me I'm definitely putting a hold on that sorry again to the Queens.

They overbooked reservations and didn’t let us know until we showed up. They told us they “may or may not have a table for us” and we could wait awhile, eat at the bar, or go to Crave.

Outstanding views! Food was delicious. My friend ordered steak, it was prepared perfectly. I had the walleye special, it was also delicious! We tried a variety of their specialty drinks and enjoyed each one. The service was impeccable. We will definitely be back!

The food and service were good. We ordered Tofu with Veggie, Banana pancake platter, Shrimp Avocado toast. Shrimp wasn’t that great. The only issue was that the music was way too loud for brunch. We had to literally shout to talk to each other.

It was our first time trying the Solar Brunch at Union. The service was great and there is a large variety of options. We tried one of the benedicts and the biscuits and gravy - and loved both. The ambience and view were nice. We were a bit crowded next to a louder, larger party which made it difficult to visit, but we enjoyed our brunch nonetheless!
