Lol. Reach-around... I'll see myself out...So, just in case I a not the only ignent bastige when it comes to flares, most vendors provide only flares for SuperCrew bed configs (i.e. short bed), and make no mention of this on their website(s).
I really liked the look of the Air Design, and mistakenly assumed they would fit my SuperCab....alas. Here's a pic of them installed on a SuperCrew - note the "reach around" on the front of the flare.
SuperCabs are longer down there, don't you know, so the reach-around just ends up creating an unfulfilled gap:
Anyway, the kindly people at Air Design are taking them back, and have promised to update their website. I am now awaiting delivery of Bushwacker Pocket flares (sized for 6'1" bed...).
Caveat Emptor, and all that....
Nice, it gives a good coverage without screaming, "look at me"!I just installed the Lund textured fender flares. I have a +25 offset and factory FX4 suspension.
Do these go over the factory wheel lip moldings? Or do you have to take them off?I just installed the Lund textured fender flares. I have a +25 offset and factory FX4 suspension.
They install on top of factory. No need to remove.Do these go over the factory wheel lip moldings? Or do you have to take them off?
nice looking truck! What brand and model of white led lights do you have mounted behind the grill at the bottom? Have to do any cutting to get them in?Here you go Jim....Air Design Flares...
Thanks Mike...I got those from Amazon and they work great as DRL...just bright enough for the inattentive to notice...I removed the brackets and used VHB tape on lower side attached to metal cross member directly behind the Raptor grill lower openings...no cutting involved...I have them switched to either constant on or strobe if I need to move traffic... ?nice looking truck! Looks great! I haven't posted yet but I added several Rigid lights this week, when I order the Raptor grill I may look into adding a thin one behind it.Thanks Mike...I got those from Amazon and they work great as DRL...just bright enough for the inattentive to notice...I removed the brackets and used VHB tape on lower side attached to metal cross member directly behind the Raptor grill lower openings...no cutting involved...I have them switched to either constant on or strobe if I need to move traffic... ?

Then you might want to mark the position and premount the lights before the grill...I did it the hard way positioning them through the holes...VHB are like contact cement...no second chances... ?Looks great! Nice, may I ask where you got your magnetic spray can? Local shop, custom order, or specific brand? Thanks, JasonInstalled the Lund factory style smooth. I painted them in Ford Magnetic contrasting with the silver, but pretty close to the color of the Raptor wheels.. waiting on 1.5" spacers. I had to dremmel both fronts to make the side markers fit.
Local automotive shop mixed with flex additive...any color..and prepare in a spray can... a little pricey at 40$ a can, but very convenient and very professional results.Nice, may I ask where you got your magnetic spray can? Local shop, custom order, or specific brand? Thanks, Jason
