It's a small park and lots of family lounging around. It's worth to visit & see the statue of Johann Strauss. It's a fun souvenir photo.

I'm sure this park is lovely in the Summer but we visited at the end of November and there was really nothing to see or enjoy. In fact there seemed large bare patches where grass should be.
This is one of several lovely parks near the centre of Vienna - just over the Ringstrasse. There are lots of winding paths going through the park with plenty of seating for the leg weary. There is a pond with water birds more or less in the centre. It even has a metro station at one end of the park that makes it accessible from almost anywhere in the city. It is on the line out to Schonbrunn (which is well worth the visit). The park is full of statues of famous musicians who have lived and worked in Vienna. It is a lovely park and is one of the reasons Vienna is such a lovely city. The Mak museum is at the other end of the park to the Metro station.
Lovely park in middle of Vienna with plenary bench if tired from all walking around Vienna full of family's playing & sitting having fun
Beautiful place to take a rest in one of the benches on a hot summer day after a long walk.
Do not miss Strauss monument.
Go to Stadtpark and have a walk around. A very nice place to visit and relax. You would never know you are in the middle of a city. A small lake with ducks helps release the tension of a busy day. A good number of monuments to see, amongst others are those of Makart, Bruckner, Schubert and the most famous of all, the Golden Statue of Johann Strauss II. Worth a visit anytime of the year. Flowers, snow, both nice to see and walk throught. Make it a point to go!!!
