Pesticide Application Technician

Mosquito Squad is a great opportunity whether you’re looking for a part-time or full-time job. We have positions available in Fayetteville, NC, and surrounding areas. Starting Pay is $14.00-$20.00 per hour depending on experience, bonus commissions, tips, paid new hire orientation, paid training, company vehicle, employee supplemental insurance coverage (Hospital, Disability, Dental, Accident, Life) and employee company discount card. No previous carpet cleaning experience is needed and training is provided to you. Pesticide Application Technicians must have a valid driver's license. Career advancement opportunities are available in training, quality assurance, office management, and sales. Please note, this job is offered by a Mosquito Squad Franchisee.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in pest control, and landscape maintenance. If you are passionate about agriculture and enjoy working outdoors, this position is perfect for you.

Duties:
- Operate and maintain machinery for pesticide application
- Perform pest control treatments
- Taking payment from customers and keeping track of invoices and payments

- Managing company van- keeping it clean and stocked

- Follow safety protocols and regulations during all tasks
- Perform general tasks and upkeep at shop

Qualifications

  • Possess outstanding customer service skills
  • Be a team player and work well with others
  • Attention to detail yet time-efficient
  • Positive attitude
  • Willingness to learn
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy items - up to 90lbs.
  • Read, write, and perform basic math calculations

*Must have a valid Driver's License and reasonably clean driving record*
