Deborah L. "Debi" Mullis, 61, Reynolds, passed away from a brain aneurysm at 9:08 a.m., Monday, June 12, 2017, at the Indiana University Health, Methodist Hospital of Indianapolis.
She was born on Feb. 21, 1956, in Monticello, to the late Noah and Doreen (Lockley) Miller. On July 4, 1976, in Patton, she married James R. "Jim" Mullis; he survives.
Debi and her husband, Jim, have lived in the Reynolds area most all their lives.
She has worked at Rural King of Monticello for the last 10 years.
Debi enjoyed fishing, camping, four wheeling, needle point, and was very active with her kids when they were in 4-H.
Her family was everything to Debi and she loved them all dearly.
Surviving are husband, James R. "Jim" Mullis, Reynolds; children, James R. "Jimmy" (Jennifer) Mullis, Peter Mullis, and Jennifer Lynne (Jamie) Roberts, all of Reynolds; nine grandchildren; sisters, Jackie (Carl) Sorrel, Reynolds, Diane (John) Farmer, Yeoman, and Denise (Pete) Caldwell, Monticello; brother, Rev. Gary Miller, Monticello; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and NUMEROUS friends.
Debi was preceded in death by her parents, Noah and Doreen (Lockley) Miller; and grandson, Dylan James Mullis.
Visitation will be from 3 – 6 p.m. Friday at the Miller-Roscka Funeral Home of Monticello. Celebration of Life Service will be held at the funeral home at 6 p.m. Friday with Rev. Gary Miller officiating.
Burial will follow at the Pike Creek Cemetery in rural Monticello.
Memorials may be given to the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
