No need to worry!

“Unfortunately, my boy, who is only six years old, is very ill and will never be able to father children himself.” A reader wrote us these words and they touched my heart.

When we receive letters from readers here at A Miracle Every Day, then I rejoice with you, but I also cry with you, and pray for you as you go through difficult times.

After reading this letter, God showed me the truth. It’s probably the verse I quote most from John 10:10: “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” (John 10:10 NIV)

In the case of this precious woman, at the moment it looked like the devil might be robbing her and her son by taking away his ability to give life.

At that moment the devil wanted to steal so much more, namely, the opportunity of rejoicing TODAY in this beautiful boy that God had given to this woman. Worries about his future overshadowed the current reality of having a live child.

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” (Matthew 6:34 NIV)

Why are you worried today about what God has a solution for tomorrow? He doesn’t want you to worry!

When the doctors told me I would never have children because of my eating disorder, my mother wasn’t worried. Rather, she took care of me—the “current” concern—and prayed for me.

The result: God has restored and healed me over the years. And yet I haven’t had any children to this day. But that’s not a “worry” for me either.

I know God has a solution today for tomorrow’s worries!

And why exactly do you want to worry about tomorrow now? ????

You are a miracle!

A doctor said that to my mother about my younger sister. My mom’s response to him was that he is not God. My sister went on to give birth to a beautiful baby girl who now has three kids of her own. Our God is always in control of our lives. Trust in Him only. 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Thank you Deborah for this encouraging message. I sometimes also worried about having kids as the doctors says I can’t have any..but I trust God and I know that one day I will testify God’s goodness in my life. Keep also trusting God and He will surely do a miracle.

Thank you Pam too for an encouraging message about your sister.

    God is good!!!

May we always remember to give Gid, thanks for today and not worry about tomorrow, let tomorrow worry about it’s own things. Thank you thank you Debra, for your wisdom, given to you by the Lord. His Mother must celebrate that her little boy is with her may she see the joy in her pain not worry about his future which is so far in the future. God, can make the impossible possible. May she remember to injoy and celebrate her beautiful little boy and let God, worry about his tomorrows. Thank you Lord Jesus Christ, for your miraculous healing hands. X
    amen.

My son in law was told he would never be able to father any children after a serious motorcycle accident years before. Then my daughter miraculously had my first granddaughter in 2006! 5yrs later a son, 4 yrs after that another son. We have been beyond blessed 😇. God is good. I thank him everyday.
