Jesse Cole Jones

Norman - Jesse Cole Jones was born July 14, 1986, in Woodward, Oklahoma and passed to his next life on August 31, 2021, at the age of 35 in Norman, Oklahoma.

One of Jesse's many legacies will be his love and loyalty for his family and friends. Anytime he would leave he would tell his family how much he loved them. Jesse was a jokester and many times at his own expense – he loved to make people laugh. He was very compassionate, a giver and would help anyone at any time. As a result, he was loved by many in Woodward, Edmond, Luther and Norman. All that knew him understood his love and it was treasured. Jesse was an animal lover and would rescue all animals if he could. Jesse had an artistic side of him from bringing ideas and creations to life and working with his hands. Jesse was a jack of all trades from plumbing, construction, roofing, and food service.

Jesse leaves behind and survived by his wife, Jacquelyn Hope Jones and a very large family; mother and step-father, Tammy (Dunn) and Lester Lind; father and step-mother, Michael and Anna Jones; brother and sister-in-law, Lester Lind Jr and Casey; sisters, Tiffany Lind and Sara and Douglas Porter; nieces and nephews, Macy, Emalia, Reid, Garret, Ruben, Claire, Ira, Bexlee and Harper; grandparents, Bonita Dunn Boston, Gerald and Delores Jones, and Winona Boyd all of Woodward; his aunts, "Rue" Ruthie and Terry Bryan and Tina and Danny Nunley; uncles, Gene and Mistie Dunn, Terry and Cheryl Dunn, and David Jones; cousins, Tamra Noble, Jonathan Nunley, Catherine Dunn, Jacob Dunn, Emilie Dunn, Evan Dunn and Scott Jones. Scott wasn't only his cousin but his best friend - they were two peas in a pod.

Jesse will always be remembered for his smile and laughter, his love and caring of others who is already missed by so many. His love of family and friends will live on forever. He brightened every life he touched. This isn't goodbye, it is just see you later. Rest in paradise dearest son.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Jesse's name to Justin's Lighthouse Foundation, 2020 N. Council Rd, Oklahoma City, OK 73127.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Mercer-Adams Chapel, 3925 N. Asbury, Bethany, OK 73008. To share a memory or condolence, visit www.mercer-adams.com
