Jenny Slate is an actress and comedian who has been appearing in film and television for years. She has had multiple stand-up specials that are available on Netflix and her comedy skills are successful in both stand-up and scripted shows. She is most recognized for her stint on Parks and Recreation as Mona-Lisa Saperstein.

This A24 film follows a comedian (Jenny Slate) trying to get her life back on track after her boyfriend unceremoniously ends their relationship. She has a one-night stand with a kind and caring man (Jake Lacy) and finds out that she is pregnant. The film aims to realistically portray the decision to have an abortion and help remove the stigma surrounding the medical procedure.

The Lego Batman Movie (2017) - 7.3

This animated LEGO feature follows Will Arnett's Batman as he fights crime and tries to care about others as he finds a family. The film also features multiple other characters from the Batman universe including Joker (Zach Galifianakis) and Harley Quinn (Jenny Slate).

Frank wants to protect his niece without holding her back, but it's a fine line that all the characters try to balance and figure out what's best for the young Mary.

Bored To Death (2009-2011) - 7.9

This series follows a young author Jonathan (Jason Schwartzman) who begins moonlighting as a private investigator. The neo-noir comedy follows his misadventures as an unlicensed investigator along with his editor (Ted Danson) and his best friend (Zach Galifianakis). Jenny Slate portrays Stella throughout the series as a reoccurring character and Jonathan's partner.

Zootopia (2016) - 8.0

This Pixar animated film portrays a world of animals living and working together, but are often separated and judged by being predator or prey. Judy, a small bunny, wants to be a police officer and tries her best through adversity to make her dreams come true. She meets Nick, a sly fox, and the two form an unlikely bond throughout the film. Jenny Slate voices the assistant Mayor, Bellwether.

Big Mouth (2017- ) - 8.0

Jenny Slate voiced Missy in the first three seasons of Big Mouth but will not be reprising the role in new seasons due to her being a white actress voicing a black character and the part will be recast.

The show follows a group of teens going through puberty and deals with issues like sexuality and family dynamics. Missy is a talkative, nerdy, and lovely character who has body issues like most of the other characters and she also isn't afraid to stand up for herself.

Bob's Burgers (2011- ) - 8.1

Jenny Slate has a reoccurring role in this much-beloved series that follows the Belcher family in their restaurant and school lives. Slate voices eldest Belcher child Tina's classmate Tammy who constantly belittles Tina and yet the two are somewhat friends. Tina and her dynamic with her friends at school is arguably one of the best parts of the series. Tammy's character is a large part of that success as a spoiled brat who can't control her farting.

Adventure Time (2010-2018) - 8.6

This animated fantasy series follows Finn and Jake as they live their lives in a post-apocalyptic world and go on various adventures meeting a wide array of different characters. The 11-minute episodes of the series have become very popular with audiences and has won multiple awards including Emmys. Jenny Slate voices the Huntress Wizard in multiple episodes of the series.

Parks And Recreation (2009-2020) - 8.6

Jenny Slate was introduced later in this beloved series about a group of Indiana parks and recreation employees as Jean-Ralphio Saperstein's twin sister, Mona-Lisa, who mirrored a lot of his outrageous personality and yet escalated everything Ben Schwartz had established as Jean-Ralphio to a new level. The twins have a lot of the same quirks and the main characters are equally annoyed with Mona-Lisa when she is introduced.
