Was it just me or was not convincing at all as an antagonist? I could maybe buy that he would turn on the sun group for what Luciana did but I don’t buy for one second that he’d turn on victor and keep his old group out of the tower.

He was not. He basically did a 180 heel turn in 3 seconds. 7x14 was honestly the most frustrating episode in that season for me.
So stupid how Strand somehow lost the loyalty of his own men to a dude who showed up like a day ago.
Well, if the story demands it, who cares if the plot hole is the size of Texas(I’m talking about the Texas that needs a plane to get to other parts of it here, not the one where you can randomly bump into people you knew 1500 miles away who then also randomly find their wife).
Literally a whole ass thread on this a couple days ago. You are not alone. In fact, I've literally only ever seen one person defend that storyline.
What was their defence(if you can remember it)? This should be good.
Honestly, while I didn't agree with them, they had the most reasonable explanation I ever heard. It wasn't absurd. But I don't remember it. They went back to the beginning of his time on the show and tracked all of his experiences though, and the arc could have been there if they didn't make it all happen so abruptly and for such a stupid reason in s7. They agreed that his Influence over Strand's men was stupid though
You can make any good guy to bad guy arc plausible if it’s written correctly. You could see that with what was happening with Madison in S3. The problem is they have an insane inability to write anything even remotely plausible.
