Since 2018, Craig Melvin has been part of the amazing Today show cast, along with Al Roker, Sheinelle Jones and Dylan Dreyer.

Before landing this gig, Craig worked as a Saturday morning Today co-host alongside Dylan Dreyer and Sheinelle Jones. Longtime fans of Craig might recognize him from MSNBC, where he will continue to anchor the news on weekdays for the 1 p.m. hour, according to The Washington Post. The outlet also reports that before his MSNBC gig, Craig worked at WRC-TV in Washington D.C. as an NBC4 anchor.

But when you put Craig's stellar broadcasting career aside, the Today star also happens to be blessed with a beautiful family. While at NBC4 in 2008, he met his now-wife, sports journalist Lindsay Czarniak. The New York Post reports that Lindsay, who worked at ESPN for six years, had just come back from covering the Beijing Olympics and happened to meet the "new guy" during a commercial break.

Apparently the pair hit it off immediately, reportedly bonding over their love of live music and Whatchamacallit candy bars. The two kept their relationship a secret from their colleagues for a few months. But, eventually, the couple became open about their romance and both decided that they were meant to be.

Three years later, the pair got married.

Now, Lindsay and Craig live in Connecticut and commute every day for at least an hour to work. In 2014, the couple had their son and first child, Delano — which happens to be Craig's middle name. Two and a half years later, Craig and Lindsay welcomed a daughter, Sybil "Sibby" Ann, into their family.

As People reported, little Delano actually helped decide what to name his sister. Apparently, while Lindsay was pregnant, Delano would call her "Sibby" as a way to say sibling. Eventually, the moniker grew on Lindsay and Craig and they ended up "falling in love" with it.

Most recently, the entire family was featured on the cover of Parents magazine. In the issue, Craig opened up about the best part of his day. "When I get home and both kids and Lindsay are there and I get the 'Daddy!' and the leg grab or the hug and the kiss. It never gets old," he said.

So sweet!
