I liked this as much if not more than the anime. I know the anime fanbase for this and it's one of those fanatical cult-like fanbases, which I've never understood. It's a good anime, but there's so many better animes. These cult-like followings that happen every so often for random things or so weird.

It is shame we will not get more of this show due to people who can't just enjoy a good adaptation. Instead they look to stroke thier own nostalgia and ego to find what they consider appropriate critiques of a fun and engaging romp. This shows failure is more a critique of how streaming fails to let new shows come into their own. Years down the road this show will have a cult following and be more appreciated for what it did.
