Career

In 1993, Guiry landed his first television appearance in A Place to Be Loved. At the age of 12, Tom Guiry made his screen debut in the comedy-drama film The Sandlot in the same year. For his performance in The Sandlot in 1994, he received the Young Artist Award for Outstanding Youth Ensemble in Motion Picture. He was cast as Matthew Turner in the film Lassie a year later.

Later in Tom Guiry’s career, he starred in The Last Home Run, Everything I want to Do, U-571, Black Hawk Down, and Tigerland. In 2007, he made his first major television appearance as Jimmy Donnelly in The Black Donnellys series.
