Sister Wives' Kody Brown and estranged wife Christine set to become grandparents again as daughter Mykelti reveals she's pregnant with twins

Sister Wives star Mykelti Brown and her husband Antonio 'Tony' Padron have revealed that they are expecting twins. 

In an interview with People magazine, the reality TV couple, who are already parents to 14-month-old daughter Avalon Asa, confirmed that they will welcome two new additions to their family in early December.    

'I'm extremely excited for the twins to come,' Mykelti, 26, told the outlet.

She continued, 'Nervous as well especially for the first 18 months of their lives, but it will be a wonderful adventure.' 

'I'm excited about having double the trouble and double the fun,' Tony said.

Mykelti stars alongside her parents Kody and Christine Brown in the TLC show, which follows a polygamist family. Kody, 53, and Christine, 50, who split in February, also share Aspyn, 27, Paedon, 23, Gwendlyn, 20, Ysabel, 19, and Truely, 12.

The Brown family patriarch also shares 12 children with his three other wives Janelle, 53, Meri, 50, and Robyn, 43.  

Mykelti and Tony's twins will become Kody's fourth and fifth grandchildren as his  daughter Maddie and her husband Eddie Brush are parents to son Axel, four, and daughter Evelyn, two.  

'I'm so excited, they're going to be such great parents,' Christine told People. 'I know they're a bit overwhelmed because it's twins, it's a lot of work but I live close, Aspyn lives close.'

She continnued, 'She's got such an amazing support system, we're all so excited.

Christine added, 'They've been incredible parents with Avalon and now we get to see them be parents again!'

Mykelti and Tony got engaged during a hiking trip in June 2016 after nine months of dating.

Milestones: The pair tied the knot in December 2016 in a ceremony in St. George, Utah with more than 400 guests in attendance. In December 2020, the two announced that they were expecting their first child. Mykelti gave birth to Avalon on April 5, 2021

At the time, Tony told People, 'We are both very happy with our baby and the success of our home delivery. We were excited Robyn could join us via Zoom for the whole labor.' 

He added, 'My wife's the strongest person I know and it shows.'

 'Avalon is gorgeous, enjoyable and full of life,' Mykelti said.

She wrote, 'WE’RE HAVING TWINS !!!! Miss Avalon will be a big sister in December (twins come earlier so probably before then).

'Tony and I definitely weren’t planning this or expecting it but we’re both excited for our upcoming adventure and all the chaos and love it brings.'

Big sister-to-be: She later uploaded a cute snap of Avalon, who was wearing a pink shirt with the wording, 'I'm going to be a big sister'

The television personality also shared an image of a strip of sonogram photos laying across two baby bibs emblazoned with the wording 'Drinking Buddies' to her Instagram story.

'Coming December 2022,' she wrote on the photo.

She later uploaded a cute snap of Avalon, who was wearing a pink shirt with the wording, 'I'm going to be a big sister.'

'She's happy for now,' Mykelti wrote.
