<p>Margaret Ellen Stephens Head, 71, of Cedar Hill, died peacefully, at the home of her sister in Hendersonville, on Thursday November 18, 2021. Funeral services will be conducted Monday November 22nd at 1:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Billy Vogle and Tim Harris officiating. Interment will follow in the Bellwood Cemetery in Adams with Jason Head, Shane Head, Joshua Head, Jacob Head, Jackson Head, and Mike Cobb serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Lincoln and Samuel Head. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.</p> <p>Margaret was born April 20, 1950, in Wayne County, KY to the late Clarence and Patricia Smith Stephens. She moved to Cedar Hill in high school and was a graduate of Jo Byrns High School. Margaret had a few different jobs in life, but eventually started sewing full time and owned and operated A Thread Runs Through for many years. She created memories for many people on their wedding day, prom, or any other special occasion that someone wanted to feel beautiful, as she loved making that happen. Margaret was a loving mother, Nana, and just a plain old great friend that you could come to and sit in the pink chair for advice or a listening ear. She was a great friend to many and loved her grandchildren unconditionally.</p> <p>In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter: Malia Head. Margaret is survived by her four sons: Jason (Katie) Head of Cedar Hill, Shane (Miranda) Head of Greenbrier, Joshua (Susan) Head of Adams, and Jacob (Tara) Head of Cedar Hill, by her brothers: Gary (Glenda) Stephens of Knoxville, Phillip (Brenda) Stephens of Indiana, Kenneth Stephens of Knoxville, and Russell (Jane) Stephens of Murfreesboro, by her sister: Ruth Stephens King of Hendersonville, and by her grandchildren that were her life: Anna Kate, Jackson, Kyndal, Mary Brook, Samuel, Henley, Lincoln, and Everlee Head, and Kaelyn Young.</p> <p>If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children&rsquo;s Hospital</p> <p>Robertson County Funeral Home in charge of arrangements</p>
