Uncle Jim was such a sweet man, He was a soft spoken man and didn't talk as much as the rest of us, but when he did talk everyone listened.
We will all miss him very much.

On a personal note Mr. Foreman was always one of my favorite friends of my dad. When I was a teenager going to the school basement he was always there with my dad playing cards. He always made me feel welcome. When I first started substituting for my dad in the pinochle tournaments he was there to lend a hand. He was one of the most interesting participants, full of stories and something to share that he learned from channel 11 . He was one of the best pinochle players and if you were his partner for that day you better be at your best or else you would get that Foreman stare. Once you looked into those eyes you knew you messed up. Many a night after pinochle my dad and I along with Mr. Foreman would head out for some White Castle hamburgers then take Mr. Foreman home. My most lasting memory is when my dad was sick and it was hard for him to leave the house. Mr. Foreman and Mr. Dan Wantroba would come over to the house to play cards and keep my dad's mind off his illness.
As time marched on for me, from high school to college to working to getting married every time our paths would cross we were genuinely happy to see each other. If I was by myself he would always ask how are your brothers doing or how is Carla.
The dances, picnics, communion breakfasts, smokers, meetings and anything else the Club was doing you would find Mr. Foreman there.
I could go on and on about this special man with the soft hands. ( Every time we would shake hands hello or good-bye I would ask him, don't you work, are you a salesman?) He had the softest hands. I guess I will end this the same way Bill did, WE'LL MISS YOU JIM.
