- James received the Drama Desk, Outer Critics and Drama Leagues Awards nominations for his starring role as "Sydney Carton' in the 2008 Broadway production of A Tale Of Two Cities. He also won the Sarasota Magazine best actor award for the out of town pre-Broadway run of A Tale Of Two Cities.
For nearly three years he played the title role of 'The Phantom' in Broadway's longest running multi-million dollar blockbuster The Phantom Of The Opera.
