Theming Related Post

Themes (and theme-related questions or news), setup showcases, and all questions regarding aesthetic-oriented tweaks should be posted in r/iOSthemes.

Incorrect/Misleading Title or [Tag]

Use tags in your title.
Posts without tags will be automatically removed by AutoModerator. Tags let readers automatically hide posts using RES and sort through topics that interest them.

Titles must contain at least three words (excluding tags). Use detailed titles for both news and questions. Also, link to the source of news, such as the developer who made the announcement, instead of linking to blogspam.

No exceptionally low-effort posts.

No memes, image macros, DAE posts, karma-farming, or shitposts. Similar low-quality/low-effort posts will be removed. Please read here for clarification.

Bypassing Passcodes/Device Locks (e.g. Activation Lock, IMEI Lock, iCloud lock, or MDM restrictions)

History has shown that these situations usually involve a device that is stolen or otherwise not fully/legally owned by the user. To avoid potentially facilitating theft or fraud, the mods are not able to verify individual cases. This rule applies also for MacOS and checkra1n.

No Buying or Selling Devices

If you wish to buy/sell a jailbroken device, visit r/jailbreakswap.

Excessively uncivil, rude, insulting, etc

7A. No insulting/rude comments or posts. Additionally, do not be rude or unhelpful when responding to posts tagged [Question]

7B. No racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, etc. comments or posts. Any user that targets hate at another user/group based on sex, race, religion, sexual/gender orientation, etc., as defined by reddit's policy on hate based on identity or vulnerability, will receive an immediate permanent ban without warning

Not Jailbreak Related

Posts must be directly related to jailbreaking (with some exceptions).

Question answered in the FAQ or on the sidebar

Posts that ask the most commonly asked questions will be removed by mods, as they are either answered in our FAQ or on the sidebar.

Drama

Anyone who participates on the sub solely for the sake of starting or continuing drama will be banned. It means that if all you do is make posts and comments for the sole purpose of fuelling drama, then action will be taken.
