Jake, you are never forgotten. The world goes on, but the memory of you makes it a better place. The sadness of losing you still has not diminished. May your giving, tender soul live on.

I miss you everyday Jacob. I know you're in heaven with Lieutenant Dan, and that gives me some comfort. I look forward to seeing you again.
I love you.

You will never meet another person like Jacob. Jake was Big, tall, strong and very handsome. Material things never mattered to him. He was the most giving, generous person I've ever known. Jake took care of others; even strangers. He would bring homeless people home for a safe night's rest, or take them out for a meal. We had wonderful stimulating political conversations. We always ended up laughing afterward. I pray you are at peace, but we here in this world feel cheated of more time with you Jake.

Tyler and Marlis thank you for acknowledging my cousin Jake. He would appreciate it. I'm sure he is looking down from heaven on all of us. And I also know that my Uncle and his brother and the test of my family can use all thoughts and prayers right now so thank you from my family.
