Jacob Bernstein

Jacob Bernstein is a reporter for the Styles desk, where he has been on staff since 2013. In addition to writing profiles of fashion designers, artists and celebrities, he has focused much of his attention at The New York Times on L.G.B.T. issues, philanthropy and the world of furniture design.

In 2016, he wrote and directed the HBO documentary “Everything Is Copy,” which was nominated for two Primetime Emmy Awards, one for outstanding documentary or nonfiction special and the other for outstanding writing for a nonfiction program.
