The New York Times Book Review contains reviews of new releases, author interviews and coverage of the book world. It also has best-seller lists for fiction, nonfiction, paperbacks and more. 

The New York Times Book Review is included with Sunday Home Delivery subscriptions. You can also subscribe separately to the Book Review. To purchase a New York Times Book Review subscription, select Contact Customer Care at the bottom of the page.

The Book Review is a physical copy delivered by the postal service and subject to mail processing times. Book Review subscriptions do not include a digital subscription to The New York Times.

 

During the Covid-19 pandemic, The New York Times Book Review is operating remotely and will accept physical submissions by request only.

If you wish to submit a book for review consideration, please email a PDF of the galley at least three months prior to scheduled publication to booksassistant@nytimes.com.

Include the publication date and any related press materials, along with links to NetGalley or Edelweiss if applicable. Due to the volume of books we receive, we cannot respond to individual requests about our plans for coverage.

Rankings reflect unit sales reported on a confidential basis by vendors offering a wide range of general interest titles published in the United States. Every week, thousands of diverse selling locations report their actual sales on hundreds of thousands of individual titles. The panel of reporting retailers is comprehensive and reflects sales in tens of thousands of stores of all sizes and demographics across the United States.
