“Are we in, are we in, are we in the clear Yet !?! “
“Remember when we couldn't take the heat?
I walked out and said "I'm setting you free"
But the Monsters turned out to be Just Trees
And when the sun came up, you were looking at me
Are we out, are we out, are we out of the woods?
Are we out, are we out, are we out of the woods?
Are we out, are we out, are we out of the woods?
Are we in, are we in, are we in the clear yet...?
Good 😌 “

Some things in life are more dramatic when seen through a monochromatic lens. "Black and white creates a strange dreamscape that color never can."... Jack Antonoff

Here is another shot along the river bank that I chose to show in black and white. I was afraid that people might think I was trying to show bleakness again and my "I'm done with winter" sentiments. While I am tired of winter that was not the focus of this shot. I won't say what I was trying to express but let you take from it what you will. :-)

I seriously lucked out tonight with this shot of Nate and Andrew discussing the encore with the rest of the band members tonight at their show at the Grog Shop (Jack not pictured.) The show was phenomenal, I was incredibly happy and no pun intended, had a fun time.
Steel Train, Jack's other band plus Jarrod Gorbel opened the show and it's the first time in a long time this year that I've seen three quality acts back to back to back like that-I would highly recommend you go see fun. before they head into the studio to make their new album.
Have you ever wondered about our old nu-metal friends and what became of them?
Turns out I saw them a couple of days ago,
They were laughing and drinking and smoking and singing.
C’mon, can you count all the notches in your belt?
I'd rather not, let's just say I'm starving myself.
Baby, put your name down on a piece of paper,
I don’t want no savior baby, I just wanna have a good time
Oh, oh, At least I’m not as sad as I used to be.
And they said,
"Hey Nate, yeah, it’s been a while,
Are you gonna sing?"
And I began to smile and I said,
"You should’ve seen me a couple of years ago,
I was laughing and drinking and smoking and singing."
C’mon can you count all the loves that didn’t last?
It’s such a gas when you bring up the past.
Baby, put your name down on a piece of paper.
I don’t want no savior baby
I just wanna get it out.
Oh oh, oh, At least I’m not as sad as I used to be.
Oh oh, oh, At least I’m not as sad as I used to be.
At least I’m not as sad as I used to be.
And they say we would’ve seen you two years ago
Had you stuck around or come out to a show,
But youth’s taken over by rock and roll,
While we were laughing and drinking and smoking and singing....
So I left, That is it. That’s my life, Nothing is sacred.
I don’t keep friends,I keep acquainted,
I’m not a prophet, But I’m here to profit.
That’s all, I’m gone! That’s my life, Nothing is sacred.
I don’t fall in love, I just fake it.
I don’t fall in love. I don’t fall in love.
Song of the Day: "At Least I'm Not As Sad (As I Used To Be)" by fun.
