Memphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant was among those to voice frustration with the conditions of the WNBA bubble environment on Tuesday at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.

A video posted Monday night by Kayla Johnson on Twitter showed a laundry room with a dirty floor and a mousetrap set up near a window. In another video posted in the same thread, a worm appeared to be on the floor in a nearby room.

Several WNBA players have confirmed the validity of the video and even added that bed bugs have been found between the mattresses and box springs inside several of the rooms on campus. Finally, Johnson also added a photo of one inedible meal option provided.

The WNBA last month announced plans to begin the 2020 season with a 22-game schedule set to tipoff in July without the presence of fans. Teams arrived at the IMG Academy on Monday and began to quarantine and will participate in a training camp prior to the start of the season.

The WNBA has struggled in the past to provide adequate travel and lodging for players. The league announced this year a new CBA that would increase player salary and help provide better travel accommodations and enhanced mental health benefits, among other items.

The conditions in the bubble environment have fallen short of acceptable but it does not appear to be affecting every player on-site. The problem is currently being reviewed by the IMG Executive VP of Events, according to Arielle Chambers of Bleacher Report.
