Detailed airport guideTransfers from Domestic to International Airlines

This page provides information on how to connect from a domestic to international flight. Passengers are required to undergo immigration procedures at the terminal where they depart on an international flight.

1.After arrival, go to the departure terminal

If the terminal you arrived at is not the terminal you will depart from, please use a shuttle bus to travel between terminals.

Terminals for arrivals and departures differ from airline to airline. Please check at the following in advance.

You can check the terminals for the arrival and departure on the date of flight on the flight information page.

Passengers arriving at Terminal 1

If you depart from Terminal 1, proceed from the domestic arrival lobby (3F) to the international departure lobby (4F).

Passengers using connection facilities

Passengers connecting from a domestic flight to an international flight in Terminal 1 can use facilities that allow them to make a connection in a shorter distance and shorter time. Please note that passengers using these facilities make a connection without entering the landside (before the departure procedures).

For the conditions for use of connection facilities, please contact your airline.

To get to Terminal 2 and Terminal 3, take a shuttle bus from Bus Stop No. 6 (1F).

4.While waiting for your connecting flight

We recommend the following services to passengers who wish to take a rest or go shopping.

Various other facilities and services are available. Check the following for further information.

5.Meeting & going out during layover

Passengers arriving on domestic flights and connecting to international flights may meet family or friends at the landside (before departure procedures) or leave the terminal building until their flight is ready to board as long as they are yet to complete departure procedures. However please arrive at the outbound passport control area well in advance as departure procedures could become congested.

Passengers using connection facilities that allow them to make a connection in a shorter distance and shorter time may not meet family or friends as they make a connection without entering the landside (before departure procedures) only at Terminal 1.
