- What do you think is the future of sci-hub? I believe that Sci-Hub will continue to play an important role in the scientific community. However, I also think that it is important for Sci-Hub to find ways to address the concerns of publishers and copyright holders. One possible solution would be for Sci-Hub to partner with publishers to develop a new model for scholarly publishing that is both sustainable and equitable. What would you do if sci-hub stopped working one day? If Sci-Hub were to stop working one day, I would be very disappointed. However, I would still be able to access scholarly articles through other means, such as university libraries and open access repositories. I would also hope that other initiatives would emerge to take Sci-Hub's place. Is there anything else you would like to say about sci-hub? I believe that Sci-Hub is a valuable resource for the scientific community. It has made it possible for millions of people around the world to access scholarly articles that they would not otherwise be able to afford. - 1. I cannot speak for the whole community, but I think it has been extremely positive. 2. Sci-hub has helped me immensely. I would give Alexandra Elbakyan the Nobel Prize (in any discipline) 3. Just staying open and active would be a major success, as I'm sure there are many forces conspiring against it. 4. I've thought of it many times: probably I'll just have to leave the academy, as I wouldn't be able to write papers or essays any more. I'm an associate lecturer in Spain, but my university library does not cover my bibliographic needs at all. I've got access to other libraries, but I cannot consult their journal databases remotely, so bibliographic searches would become a daunting task. I think I'll just switch to writing novels or plays. Seriously. 5. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I donate now and then through PayPal (on this website, not Sci-hub), but I wish I could donate more. If I ever win the national lottery, I pledge to donate a substantial part of the prize. I set up a bitcoin account to donate to Sci-hub, but it has become too complicated. It would be great to have the possibility to donate via PayPal on Sci-hub website, too, if possible.

- Extremely good. Flow of information should be free around the world. Putting research behind a paywall is literally cutting of access of knowledge and hampering the progress of humanity. 2. Immensely. I read extensively, and write too, by virtue of being a law student. Hundreds of pieces I would have never been able to read had sci-hub not been there. 3. I don't have any suggestions per-se. The site is perfect as it is now. Trying to "improve" something that already gets the job done super-efficiently could result in it getting worse. However, a contribute/upload feature would be nice, where people could upload things they were not able to get on sci-hub but got access later somehow. 4. There's literally no other good alternative. Cry. 5. Nothing. Just keep up the good work. I know it might not pay a lot, but I want you guys and the people handling it know that there are thousands who appreciate the efforts.
