A nice two-mile loop with a beautiful rock garden, ponds, and sports fields, and right next to Zoo and Fairytale Town. This route along the bike lanes is paved and the sidewalk loop is mostly unpaved gravel. Accessibility: There are 8 designated accessible spaces in the paved parking lot off of 15th Avenue by the west end of the trail. All of them are van-accessible with striped access aisles. The trail surface is paved asphalt or concrete. It is typically at least 3 feet wide with some wider passing spaces. The route uses a bike lane on the side of the road marked with a painted line for most of the trail. The majority of the trail is estimated to be in the gentle grade category (3% or less). This trail will likely be navigable for most wheelchairs/mobility equipment or stroller users. There are wheelchair-accessible bathrooms by the west end of the trail.

A great walk with friends that is right in our backyard.

Nice and easy walk. I think it’s prettier to walk the interior of the park rather than the outside by the cars/street, but this was still nice!

10 mile run with Brandon. Furthest run yet, feeling really good!

Tried to hang with Brandon for a 7:30-7:50 mile pace for 2 miles alternating to 10-11 mile pace for 2 miles. At around mile 3 he started pulling ahead. With HR of 180 I had to slow down and continue at my own pace. Good run still! Considering new shoes with the hot spots I’m experiencing around my interior mid arches.

Beautiful and large park. So many side trails within to use. Easy to park and to picnic. Nice flat trail on outer limits of park. But lots of street traffic. Recommend walking the paths within the park not the one outlined here. Also great spots for kids to visit. Parks. Duck pond. Zoo. Fairytale Town.

Beautiful views once inside the park itself, not a fan of jogging the part of the loop facing heavy traffic but the rest is very nice! Lovely little botanical garden and painted ducks

There are NOT ADA trails here. There are multiple ponds and a rock garden all of which are inaccessible!! There are not even sidewalks throughout the park for ADA individuals. Cool place. Definitely NOT ADA as the description claims

It is a beautiful trail surrounding the zoo, golf course and park. Perfect for a beginner runner like myself. It is right by the main road but the cars didn’t bother me.

great beginner walker, or just a nice weekend stroll. kinda crowded because of the zoo and kids parks so get there early to avoid that traffic.

Easy stroll. Many families out enjoying the lovely park. Dogs (mostly leashed). Walked around Duck ponds, Fairy Tale Town, golf course. Can add mile(s) if walk in and out all the paths or include the lower loop. Much traffic on bordering roads. To avoid, walk inside the dirt trails on the grass and inner paths. Can go through City College and over the train tracks to walk to include Curtis Park. Again an easy stroll.

Nice trail around the park. Trail wasn’t busy but lots of traffic today along Sutterville. Lots of shade and the trees and fall colors are pretty this time of year.

Decent walking trail. Half of it is on the edge of a fast, busy street. The other half is inside the nice quiet park. Some nice places to sit down and just people and geese watch. You can’t safely cross the lawns as it’s also a good course.
