Your latest commercial is a woke joke ! All women using tools and building homes and working with lumber ! What a joke Home Depot has become ! Good luck with woman buying your tools wood and other products ! Me or my work team will never shop there again ! You’re such a woke piece of crap company ! Boycott Home Depot ! Men let their woman depicted in their commercials buy their products ! We’ll take our business elsewhere. Some place that appreciates their male customers ! Such wokeness with your commercials will have you go bankrupt !

HOPE DEPOT HOME NOTHING

Hi, I'm reaching out to discuss an issue I encountered at one of your stores.
I asked, "Why does your website say it's in stock, and when I arrive, it's not?" The Manager replied, because we don't update the website."
WONDERFUL FOR THE CONSUMER.
I see MR BIG- ONE OF THE OWNERS OF HOME DEPOT ON VARNEY AND COMPANY ON FOX BUSINESS PROCLAIMING ALL SORTS OF THINGS NEED TO TAKE PLACE TO PUT America back ON ITS FEET. I SAY HEY, MR. BILLIONAIRE WHY DON"T YOU SPEND SOME MONEY AND HIRE SOME I.T PEOPLE TO KEEP YOUR WEBSITE CURRENT! To buy paint at Brandywine, DE, you have to agree with their politics...

I'm sick of going to the store in Brandywine, DE and having someone else's politics pushed on me. This is the 2nd time I've been there that the Behr rep, I think his name is John or Jon, starts talking about politics and when I disagree with him, he starts foaming at the mouth, turning red and raises his voice at me. First, I don't want to talk about politics to a stranger, second, I don't want to talk about politics to someone who's made it as far as a paint manager at his age and third, I DON'T WANT TO TALK ABOUT POLITICS!!!

Zero Customer Service

New post guess I should have learned the first time around the block. This year we spent $40,000 in materials on a home remodel. Tried to return some items to Home Depot no receipts no return not even for in store credit even though the Home Depot tags were in place and obviously bought there. Compare this to Lowe’s who gladly refunded our returns even though they were outside of 365 days from purchase. Lesson learned no more Home Depot for this buyer.

Very beautiful day wasted!!

I place a farly large order for a backyard landscape refresh. All products ordered were in stock, per HD's website. Scheduled for a Friday delivery, as I had lined up some friends to help me on Saturday morning. No Friday delivery. Placed a hold on my help. It is now Saturday afternoon, and still no delivery. Customer service could not tell why it had not been delivered or where the order was. Everyone has other commitment on Sunday. A very nice day to work outside WASTED!!!

Could not set up credit card payments using my ProXtra card

After opening a new ProXtra credit card account I tried to pay the balance on 5-6-2024. After calling Home Depot I was told that I need to basically go to Citibank (but the Home Depot website appears to not require this). I asked to speak to someone else and instead he transferred me to some auto voice thing and couldn’t speak to anyone. I called Home Depot again and spoke to a woman about the problem and I did what suggested and it did not work. She transferred me to Citibank and the woman said I need to go the Home Depot website and had me do what I did before and finally she told me it’s the browser! I need to use Chrome or Edge. I was using Firefox. I do not like to use Chrome because of Google’s tracking issues and Edge’s poor user interface. I finally paid via the person I was speaking to but had to find my bank routing and account numbers. Was on phone for almost 1 hour and 10 minutes total and was not able to set up electronic credit card payments!

It used to home depot was a respectable…

It used to home depot was a respectable company that didn't screw up so much and had great customer service. I should know because I worked at home depot 25 years ago when I was in college. Lately, customer service is lacking and online orders have been mishandled. They give you extra stuff, or it arrives late or never arrives and many a times it comes damaged. I understand that it's mostly the service delivery, UPS or Fedex, but it says home depot doesn't care about the continuous screw ups by these delivery services. This doesn't happen anywhere as often with Amazon. home depot is doing little to compete with amazon and it will be eventually replaced by the conglomerate because it lacks customer service and its poor deliveries.

now I'm getting upset

now I'm getting upset , this will be the very last time i ever order my materials from home depot. really now another product on the list has e-mailed me with a delay cause its coming from 3 states away. I know you have it in the store I made the list at I saw it on the shelf.. this is very irritating,,, for now on I promise Lowes gets all my business......should have went there in the first place.

Worst delivery experience of my entire life

I have had several appliances delivered over my lifetime. Today was a first in terms of a horrible delivery experience. At first, the guys refused to put my refrigerator in my kitchen, claiming they couldn’t take off the door in order to fit it. I became THAT person and called a manager, whom I put on speaker. The manager instructed the crew to put the refrigerator in the kitchen. Then the guys scraped my range across my new vinyl floor, scooting it carelessly. Had it been my old laminate floor, it would’ve been completely scratched. Fortunately no damage there. Then the guys put my refrigerator door back on. They practically stripped the screws and forgot the door hinge cover as well as the bottom cover. The handle to the door was loose as well. The worst part of the day was after they left. I had a marble entryway installed four weeks ago. Now there is a 4-5 inch crack thanks to these morons. I had covered it with towels and cardboard on top of the towels, secured by painters tape. I had told them to be careful of the marble when bringing in the refrigerator. Now my new beautiful floor has been marred. I am beyond disgusted. I filed a claim through the store and will wait to see what happens. I will never order another delivery from Home Depot.

Worst customer service ever

Worst customer service ever! We ordered a stackable dryer online and the delivery crew dropped it off and left saying they didn’t want to install it. The delivery guy even called his boss and was told to do it. He said no and left. We called the main Home Depot line twice and were ignored and told it was our fault and insulted.
Home Depot has made a hater for life in west valley city Utah!

Online ordering is very inconvenient!

I ordered a small bag of #8 machine screws for pickup. Usually they put small items in the lockers and it is so easy to quickly walk in and grab your stuff. This time they didn't put it in the locker I had to wait in line for 20 minutes. It would have been faster to just go find it myself then pay for it myself at a self checkout.

Never received order, refund request DENIED

I ordered a product online and it was never received. UPS tracking shows it's MIA. I called to cancel the order and get a refund and my refund was DENIED. I got an email saying I have to go through this third party to appeal for the refund. WHY??? I CLEARLY didn't receive the product. What a sham.

They sold us a portable dishwasher that…

They sold us a portable dishwasher that doesn't have the capability to dry the dishes. Who would even want that. We did not even find out that it didn't dry them until after calling the repair center and GE doesn't have any dry cycle. 48 hours had passed so now we have a $600 piece of Garbage!!!!!!!!!

I had purchased new fence from them…

I had purchased new fence from them which they sublet to Buzz fence company. No one from Home Depot has contacted me to see how project went, had to pay for all up front.
We had issues with Buzz fence and Home Depot needs to do better at following up on projects that they sub out to other contractors.

Substandard Material & Service

Absolutely substandard materials and service. Bought a Hampton Bay patio set in May 2023. The finish on the table peeled in less than a year despite being covered all winter. Turns out the "concrete" finish was really a thin layer of paint over a composite top. There is no chance of it staying adhered to the top over time even if babied. Had the construction been clear, I would have never bought the set. Called Home Depot and was told they can give me a $100 "markdown" (on a $1200 set) if I don't want to try a replacement tabletop (which is identical and will not be warranted). Avoid this brand - and this business.

Self checkouts are a violation of…

Self checkouts are a violation of multiple federal laws. Forced labor without payment of the minimum wage is illegal on the federal level. Forcing people under the legal working age to be a cashier for home depot is also federally illegal. Anyone accused of stealing from self checkout is innocent because, 1) they are not a trained cashier. 2) mistakes happen for untrained cashiers, 3) forced unpaid slave labor is federally illegal. If there are any attorneys interested in an easy winnable class action please contact me so this madness can end before home Depot forces people to stock its shelves for free

Slow, unreliable online support and misinformation

I do a lot of online shopping, but Home Depot is the WORST!! Always!!. First of all, when I open their website, it sets my store in a town 50 miles away in another county. I always change it to "make this my store" for my location. Next time, it's the same. I have a PRO account, and when I log in, they send me a security alert telling me I logged in three hours earlier and near a town that is 50 miles away in another direction. When I check an online order after 10 days, my order status only shows in store purchases, not the online order even though I used the order number. When I call, I am told that the order was delivered two days ago to my local store. When I go to the local store, they don't have it and say it will be in next week. So, in the end most things take about 3 or 4 times longer than other online sites.
Unless ABSOLUTLY NECESSARY, I will not order from HD online.

False delivery time claims

Spent an hour loading up a cart all for "delivery today" even the last item I put in the cart said this. Get to checkout and all items wont be delivered until tomorrow. FO! I'm not home tomorrow. I guess I'll cancel that plan for another try at Lowes next time I'm off.

Also, when time to login it says "Password expired" So they just delete your login credentials if you haven't bought anything in a few months?
