Are Controllers Supported for PC?

PC Controller Support Available

Controllers such as PS4 and Xbox Controllers can be used natively for the PC version of Genshin Impact. Simply go to Settings and change the Control Type from Keyboard to Controller!

Buttons are Easier and Closer to Press

Controllers have the advantage of keeping important keys close to your fingers, letting you execute actions faster. You also have better control with moving, thanks to the analog sticks.

Are Controllers Supported for Mobile?

iOS Controller Support Available

Controllers are now supported for the Genshin's iOS version. This new addition was made available from the Version 1.3 update!

Android Controller Support Not Available

Currently, Genshin Impact does not support Controllers for the Android version of the game.

There are no announcements about Controller support for Android yet, and it was not mentioned on the Developer Discussion about iOS Controller Support. We will update this page once info about Android controller support has been announced.

How to Set Up Controllers in Genshin Impact

Via USB Cable

Your controller needs to be plugged into your PC's USB port for it to be recognized. Here's how to set up the controller

• Plug the controller's USB cable into your PC or laptop's USB port.
• Launch Genshin Impact and open the Settings page by pressing the Esc key.
• Go to Controls, click the drop down menu on Control Type and select Controller.

Via Bluetooth Connection

If you are using Windows 10, open the Start Menu and go to Bluetooth and Other Devices Settings, then switch on your Bluetooth connection.

Click Add Bluetooth or other Device, select Bluetooth and then click Wireless Controller. Make sure that your wireless controller is turned on and discoverable.

When you launch Genshin Impact, go to Controls, click the drop down menu on Control Type and select Controller.

iOS Controller Set Up

Once your controller is connected either via USB or Bluetooth, simply open the Settings Menu, go to Controls, click the drop down menu on Control Type and select Controller.
