Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino has garnered appreciation for its comfortable accommodations and an array of amenities, though the pool area can get crowded and late-night dining is limited. While the hotel's cleanliness and stylish ambiance receive praise, some visitors have experienced issues with room upkeep. Opinions on value and service are mixed; some guests find the hotel overpriced with encounters of indifferent staff, while others commend the friendly service and atmosphere conducive to relaxation.

Overall staff was friendly when I got to casino I was able to check into my room 2 hours earlier at 2pm and not be charged because check in doesn’t start until 4pm. My room was clean and had a wonderful pool/jacuzzi area. Issues I had here was no microwaves in casino anywhere. Limited food options currently no buffets and I asked for a military discount at checkout I was told because I booked online discount was already applied and if removed my cost of the room with my military discount then the room would actually be more expensive. I got a view room and the site from it was nice. Also I had my room charged as an authorization 2times when it should have been only one authorization and one sale but I had plenty of available credit so it didn’t cause me any issues but they don’t need to do that to people. Overall if I had a microwave in my room and better food options other than 3 sisters, Tim Hortons, and the 24 hour store for snacks then I would have gave a 5 out of 5. The hotel has a few restaurants in it but they have different days and times they are open instead of daily so that was a shock to me. Also the staff would not warm up any food that you purchased either. So you have to keep buying food daily. It’s a short walk from casino to The Niagara Falls State Park so I was very happy about that. Overall I wouldn’t stay here again until the buffet opens up again unless it was just a one night stay but I did enjoy myself still even with these issues. Also the casino will give you 15.00 of free play money if it’s your 1st time there to play but you need to go to the promotion table to signup for your free casino membership card. Also parking wise their is plenty of parking spaces at this location.

When you enter the hotel it’s nice and welcoming, great location close to the Falls. The room was ok except the cleaning could be better, crumbs on the chair and floor, bottom sheets not tucked in the beds, the heat did not work properly. We’ still in a pandemic, they seemed short staffed, they need to clean better, they only clean when people check out of rooms. If I go to a hotel I’m wiping and spraying but not sweeping up crumbs. The casino was not good to us, they said if we signed up for their card we would get $15 in free play but everyone I asked in the casino seemed clueless. The lines at the restaurants were long and everything closes early for a weekend, yes I think 10 is early. We wish the spa was open (one reason for choosing this hotel). This hotel is expensive on the weekends but if I ever come that way again I might stay again. They check temperatures to get in casino but not hotel that really defeats the purpose. The elevators need a better system, the sign says only so many in elevator bay at a time but the guards don’t enforce it. First time traveling since 2019 some improvements are needed.

Very comfortable, quiet room. Pool, hot tub and exercise room very clean and well maintained.
Dining on site is outrageously expensive. Lots of restaurant choices a short drive away.
Don't drink the bottled water left in your room, there is a $2.00 charge per bottle! Be aware there is a $20.00 resort fee added to the price listed for the room. You pay whether you use any of the facilities or not. Thankfully you can flush the toilet for no additional charge! LOL We had a good time her, just felt nickled and dimed.

Hotel and room was clean. I had a corner room with great views. I was told at check in there was no room cleaning but to call if I needed anything. I called for an extra comforter and was told no but they did send up a thin, ratty, itchy blanket. No water bottles in room and vending machine empty for entire stay, bottled water in the lobby was 5 dollars and room service would not bring a pitcher of water with meal so if you want want water be prepared to spend or make a trip to grocery store. The food ranged from edible to poor, several of our party complained of stomach aches after meals and you could not eat at restaurant without reservations which was actually a blessing. Usually only one packed blackjack table running with 15 min and two others 25-50 min. Basically not an enjoyable or fun place and not worth the very high cost.

A member of our family is 89 years old and walks with a cane. He needed to sit down during the check-in process, but there are no benches near the registration desk. They are located across a vast lobby. Our rooms weren’t ready, so we were directed to the bell desk, which is not close to the registration desk at all...it’s across the vast lobby and then some. This was a difficult process for our family member, and I’m sure for others as well.

The buffet’s temporary location is a brightly lit meeting room, and the food is served from a hallway. Unappetizing is putting it mildly.

When you check in, they ask you if you would like housekeeping service during your stay. We said yes, but no one did it. We were out of the room by 11:30, and removed the Room Occupied sign from the door as we left. The housekeeper was on our floor at the time.

Positively, the rooms were clean when we arrived, and the casino is clean and well maintained. The food at the Italian restaurant was very good, and the restaurant is lovely.

The property seemed to be more luxurious in their website. Don’t get scam!
I have stayed in hotels in many parts of the world before, and by far this hotel ranks one of the worst I have ever stayed and experienced. Front desk is very unprofessional, they all look miserable working there. We got to our room and we noticed a strong odor of cigarettes. It seemed that the people before us, smoked and supposably we got a non smoking room. RIGHT!
The rooms are not very pleasant. They are dark, muggy, OLD and not updated.
I called to have us moved and the lady gave us a room just one floor above. This room was a bit better.
Make sure to bring your own water and utensils. Avoid calling room service at this hotel, you will be saving a couple of bucks!
$12 for a bottle of water and $6 for just ONE set of plastic utensils. I thought I was in Paris for a second.
Service overall was execrable. We went to get lunch at the Three Sisters cafe. The whole experience was terrible. Food wasn’t good AT ALL. (Wendys offers better tasting salads than this restaurant) super pricey and not of high quality food. They are really good restaurants around the area.
I will never come back to this property. Unpleasant staff, third rate restaurant, rooms and service. I have never been excited to come back home from a vacation before.
The only good thing about the property is the view.

The front desk service and rooms were in good shape and normally you will be thrilled to be there. While you are there, you receive no maid service in the room but if you need items or trash removed, they are quick and efficient. No real COVID concerns. Hand Sanitizer is everywhere. Mask is you want.

The big let down is the lack of food service. During evening meals the two available restaurants can have as much as an hour wait. All other meal venues are closed (a total of three).

Further, the food choices around Niagara are very limited and not of high quality.

SPA and gym were not open

The casino was nice and reasonably empty. No entertainment was available.

Enjoyed the Falls and my morning walks through old Niagra and the State Park but I do not need to repeat this trip again.

First time back at Seneca in two years due to COVID, not much has changed, other than there is no smoking in the Casino which is a plus for me. Some new machines but a lot of the older ones that were there two years ago, Some are just moved around Drink service was very very bad, you ordered a drink and the Server either forget about your order, or you sat there fore 30 minutes waiting, blew more money than I could have gone to the bar and purchased a drink, due to Spring break there were way too many kids did even try to get to the pool, it was not worth it. Most people were not wearing masks. The room were still the same no upgrades made at all, the room was not very clean, they did seem to have new towels, no more towels with rips and wholes, Bed - too hard and the pillows were too hard could not sleep for two days, still the same old TV's in the room, the windows needed to be cleaned, the light figures were still the same, dirty and burnt out light bulbs, and shades bent. Parking is still free and if you do not want to walk just park out side, there is construction on the road from the border, past the casino, so that was a pain, Food - ate at 3 sisters for breakfast, not very good, and $3.00 for a cup of coffee, no thanks! Cannot complain about the room price, as it was a comp, would not pay over $300.00 a night for the room, not worth it.
Staff - nice to see Stephanie and Dakota at the front desk Valet staff seem to be the same as two years ago, and there seemed to be some of the same Security staff.
As long as I can get a room on a Comp, I will keep going, but if I had to pay, no I would not, it is certainly not luxury. The issue with Seneca is they really do not care what people have to say, they are the only Casino in the Falls, other than the ones in Canada, and they are busy no matter what

Nothing to do here on Halloween. No bars, no DJ or music, half the machines are out of order. We booked a non smoking room but it so happens that we are above a smoking floor. We called to complain and they said we had to stay there and they would spray the room. Don’t spend your money coming here especially to this hotel you will regret it as we did.

The hotel itself is very nice BUT because of COVID there are many things not available: no maid service, many restaurants/bars closed, workout room closed, spa closed, and no liquor service on the gambling floor. I understand this HOWEVER, what I don't understand is them charging us an additional $20/night 'resort fee'. I tried to contest this with no success. So I would caution any travelers to be aware of this before booking this hotel.
