Have trouble logging in to Facebook on Wednesday? Turns out it's not just you.

Parent company Meta said a technical issue caused some Facebook users to have issues logging in to the site.

"We resolved the issue as quickly as possible for everyone who was impacted, and we apologize for any inconvenience," Meta said in a statement sent to USA TODAY.

Reports of issues impacting Facebook were reported on Down Detector, a website tracking outages affecting online platforms, starting at around 9 a.m. ET before peaking just after 1 p.m. ET.

The most common problems were related to logging in to Facebook, according to user reports on Down Detector.

The down time for Facebook follows last week's massive Amazon Web Services outage, knocking out sites including Google, Venmo, DoorDash and Spotify, and a smaller one on Wednesday as well.
