Make life more colorful with Camille Prats - Manila Standard
Beginning today, GMANetwork brings moms and kids a more colorful morning via the new edu-tainment program Makulay ang Buhay that brings together music, storytelling, and other fun activities — all while educating children on food and nutrition.
Airing every Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m. with replays every Saturday at 9:45 a.m., Makulay ang Buhay is hosted by CamillePrats.
As a mother of three and an educator herself, Camille or “Mom C” brings to the program her experience in raising kids and teaching them about eating healthy.
“I was so happy when I learned about the project, I feel really grateful and excited. It’s been awhile since we had a show like this for children and I’m so happy to be a part of it,”
Camille expresses her excitement for the new show.
In Makulay ang Buhay, she shares her new adventures with kid viewers and co-mommies, and at the same time learn together new things about food and nutrition. Mom C underscores the importance of having an edu-tainment program like Makulay ang Buhay especially now.
“I really think the best way for kids to learn is by having fun. Makulay Ang Buhay is fun, interactive, and informative. Now is the perfect time to have a show like this for kids since most of them are stuck at home and are not having physical classes. Let›s give them something fun to watch and at the same time encourage them to eat their greens because these days, nothing is more important than our health,” shares Camille.
Joining Camille are two lovable puppets: Benjie and his best friend dog Penpen. Benjie is a 9-year-old boy who is cheerful and just like other kids, is very curious and loves to play. Meanwhile, his friend Penpen is an Aspin pet dog of Mom C. Penpen loves to dance and knows a lot of trivia.
“It’s going to be fun, informative, and interactive,” Camille further says about the show. “Parents and their kids can watch it together and use the time to bond and teach their kids about what they have learned from the show. We have storytime that teaches values, easy recipes for moms, and interactive games for the whole family. You guys are gonna love the adorable Penpen and Benjie.”
Makulay ang Buhay is produced in partnership with Knorr.
