Hello, I'll be traveling to Shanghai soon. I wanted to buy an iPhone X there, but I've got two questions. Can I use WeChat to pay in iSpot? Will iPhone bought in China work fine in Europe (Poland, to be exact)?

No idea about iphone but I know I bought a smartphone in china a few years back and could not use it with my carrier in the US so I'd be very careful before shelling out the cash.
According to Apple, the iPhone X Model A1901 is compatible with Orange, Play and T-Mobil LTE Networks in Poland
( https://www.apple.com/iphone/LTE/#iphone-X ).
If you can't find this model no. or are using a different network in Poland, then i would definitely pass on buying this Iphone in China. Otherwise you could end up with a phone that only connects at slower speeds or maybe not at all.
Personally, I'd pass on making what will still be an expensive phone purchase in China for it's primary use in another country.
Check prices back home first. People often assume wrongly that these phones are cheaper in China. They are quite expensive.
Indeed, I often get requests to bring them in from HK.
Forget it!
iPhone X 64Gb
RMB 8316 = US$ 1303
ZL 4979 = US$ 1360
iPhone X 256Gb
RMB 9605 = US$ 1505
ZL 5729 = US$ 1566
Here you can check iPhone prices:
The difference is way too small and you have no warranty (iPhones have NO international warranty), and in case you have to pay VAT when you enter Poland you are badly hit with 20% on top.
(They are cheaper in Hong Kong, but the warranty and tax problem remains the same)

For price comparison, I bought 3 iphoneX 256G November 2017 as Xmas gifts, it was about US$1000 each. Online Apple order in the US.
no. Won't work. Waste of money. Blocked for outside china.
Mike can you place orders for me from Hong Kong for iPhone x?
Apple HK delivers only locally. Small stores I wouldn't trust. You can try this big and 100% legit online store: http://www.expansys.com.hk/apple_store_asia/
You are in the UK? Remember you need to pay 20% or so VAT when the phone enters UK.
One more issue, anything with a lithium battery inside is very hard to send. Most Hong Kong shippers (including HK Post) do not accept lithium cells or anything with such cell inside.
