- Travel and food are my best interestSingapore, Singapore435 contributionsIt is another bazaar that will happens on only Friday Saturday and Sunday. If you are going there first time, you will probably find it interesting and unique. - Anand1351Singapore, Singapore2,766 contributionsPlace is vibrant , buzzing with tourist. Mid day and till 4.30pm is way too hot so try going in morning elsewhere in evening when it cool down.

The ‘church’ was just a ruin with multiple stone slabs. Overall, a very chill place to visit.Written March 15, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Quang Kiet LeHo Chi Minh City, Vietnam967 contributionsThe mosque was built on the water and seemed to be a popular tourist spot to watch sunset in Malacca. And yes, it looked romantically beautifully. However, the beach right next to the mosque's left offered a better view.Written January 23, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - sally6001oundle14 contributionsThis is billed as a river walk but really there is little to see of interest. Once you are beside the river either walk into the town or use one of the trikes to peddle you around . Cheap enough for a 45min tour they will wait for you at each place of interest. I would recommend as it was so hot and exhausting and they know where to go instead of working with a map if you have limited time .Written March 9, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Almost everything can be reached in 10-15 minutes walking.
Apart from some very small areas which are quite touristic. All the rest in authentic.Written February 24, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The location is at a landed property with a huge garden for the 6 dogs to roam around. The dogs were able to come into the cafe/kitchen area with Aircon. The dogs were well-trained by the owners and understand many commands & can even shake hands with us! My boys had a fun-filled afternoon with all the doggies with different personalities! Owners (Fong and Sharine) were very friendly and we felt like we were chatting with our old friends. Will definitely come back again!Written June 23, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- picklejuzzKuala Lumpur, Malaysia48 contributionsKampung Morten or simply Morten Village is a historical traditional Malay village in the city which is situated near the Malacca River. It is named after a British land revenue collector, Frederick Joseph Morten during the British Malaya. Here is where tourist can get a taste of the local culture. Take the river cruise at night to see lights lighting the village. There is also a local house turned into a museum located inside the village. For those who want to get a better idea, do the village walking tour. My husband and I rented a motorcycle to get around the village because it's easier. To enter the village is free.Written September 16, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Anand1351Singapore, Singapore2,766 contributionsHonestly not much to see or do but this is what you do in Malacca.

We were greatly disappointed with the ambiance of the place and the touts descended upon us like vultures as soon as we got out of the car.
Food wise, we found Stall 10: J&J offered the most authentic Portuguese food. The rest were very much Chinese food and cooked by Chinese chefs.
Don’t bother coming here unless you just want to have that been there done that experience.Written October 8, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Believed to be given by China. No records are found in China about this princess or marriage. But, she is a popular part of Malaysia’s history. This is her well or rather the King’s well. Used to be the main source of fresh water for the city. This well was believed to have never ran dry even though in drought season!Written June 18, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
