Show your strength in the Palworld Arena
All the innovations surrounding the Palworld Sakurajima update just won't stop. The brand new Palworld PvP Arena is another point that we would like to take a closer look at in the GPORTAL blog and you can find out exactly what this arena is all about in the following article.
What can you expect in the Palworld PvP Arena?
Since you can build an individual and very strong team of all kinds of Pals around you in Palworld, some players naturally want to be able to compete against other players and their Pal teams. And Pocketpair has of course answered this desire and created the new PvP arena where you can test your skills and those of your Pals. Which strategy works with which Pals and what's the quickest way to bring down my opponents? All of this you can find out through interesting arena battles.
The Palworld PvP Arena location
To be able to compete against others in the arena, you first have to find it, which is rather difficult if the map is not well revealed. It is located in the far east below the desert area and lies on a very small island surrounded by water. If you have not yet completely uncovered the map, first head east, slightly south. Ideally, use a flying pal to cross the water comfortably and reduce the risk of being attacked on the way there. As soon as you discover the desert region, head south and look for a small island that is very close to the desert.
Tip: There is a fast travel point at the Palworld Arena. Be sure to activate it so that you don't have to travel an eternally long way again for further battles.
What to expect before and during the fight
The arena itself is definitely not to be overlooked - it is somewhat reminiscent of an old Roman building and resembles a colosseum that has been slightly destroyed by rocks. Fighting figures are emblazoned on the roof of the arena, which only enhances its appearance. To start the battle, you have to interact with the arena door and wait for another player. Important: the players must be on the same server, i.e. multiplayer mode must also be activated.
As soon as your opponent has also entered the arena, you will be taken to a menu where each of you has to select your Pals. A maximum of three Pals can support you in battle, so you should pay close attention to which Pals your opponent chooses so that you can react appropriately. As soon as you are both ready to start, the battle begins and the better one wins. The battle is over when one of you has killed the opponent's three Pals or the player himself. The good thing about fighting in the arena is that items such as ammunition are not lost. True to the motto: what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.
Palworld Arena tips and strategies for victory
- Choose from different Pal types so that every possibility is covered in the best possible way
- A flying Pal is not only important for getting to the arena, it can also be extremely helpful in battle to be able to move in the air to avoid attacks from other Pals
- Keep moving, as this will make it difficult for enemy Pals and their players to hit you
- Concentrate on the other player, especially with strong Pals, because as soon as he is down, the game is over and you are the winner
- Make sure that your Pals not only cover all types, but can also complement each other well
- And finally: practice, practice, practice! The more often you fight in the arena, the better you can put together your Pal team and adapt your strategies for a successful victory
The best Pals for arena battles
- Jormuntide Ignis or Blazamut Ryu: Both are extremely strong as they are of the fire and dragon type. This makes them extremely powerful and they can deal a lot of damage. You can find out how to get Blazamut Ryu in Palworld in our blog article
- Warsect: In contrast to the two above, Warsect is more of a small tank in arena combat. This makes him a good choice because, with his larger health bar, he can make sure that the opposing team bites their teeth out until he really falls over
- Knocklem: Similar to Warsect, Knocklem is more of a tank in combat, but if you choose your other two Pals offensively, this is a very good strategy to give the offensive Pals good opportunities to attack the enemy side
- Orserk: Again, we have a Pal that has two types, Electric and Dragon. This also makes it very strong, especially with its active attacks against other Pals
- Frostallion Noct: This Pal is of the Dark type and deals a lot of damage against enemies. It is also very fast thanks to its passive abilities and can therefore dodge enemy attacks well
