- Keith K4 contributionsFantastic history and set up in the Museum where they direct you to the top floor, and you wind your way down like to do at the Mercedes car, museum, just brilliant seeing some of the history of Audi and the cars that have set it apart, very worthwhileWritten September 24, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Michael AVienna, Austria9 contributionsWe happened to visit on a Saturday evening and the organist was rehersing for the service the following day. The church was in darknss except for the altar, and the organist who was sitting at the console high up on the noth side of the apse. It was wonderful being able to sit in the darkened pews and listen to the music echoing around this enormous space. Thank you.Written December 2, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- ColinCape Coral, FL427 contributionsVery small outlet but just beautiful from every aspect (comparable to Wertheim). Could use a few more stores but definitely worth a visit and to stroll through some stores and gather some deals.Written December 30, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MrsPiketRotterdam, The Netherlands2,509 contributionsThe Bayerisches Armeemuseum comprises three museums. The Bayerisches Polizeimuseum in Turm Trivia (1841), the Bayerisches Armeemuseum in Neues Schloss (1490) and the Museum des Ersten Weltkriegs in Reduit Tilly (1841). The review is about the latter.
The Museum des Ersten Weltkriegs provides a critical and historically accurate reflection on German military confrontations in WW1 and the role of the army and the impact of the Great War on people, society and government.
The Bavarian Army museum is one of the largest museums of military history in Europe. Is an impressive museum of history with a focus on Bavaria in its European context and cover the period from the late Middle Ages to the present day.
The Museum des Ersten Weltkriegs provides excellent information and it will take you awhile to get through. You can here easily spend over 3 to 4 hours. Highly recommended.Written July 20, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - romeoqiunt36 contributionsIngolstadt, as we have learned throughout our tour, is originally a fortress city, enclosed by a medieval defensive wall, and Kreuztor served as one of its gates on its western part.It is astonishing piece of architecture from the middle ages, built completely in red brick and it stood the test of time. To get impression of the time, this visit is a must.Written November 25, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
