We took advantage of one of their free days (they have them 4 times a year) and were so glad we did. We, as a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 young children, ages 5 and 9), had a great time. Parking is free in the parking garage and in the overflow lots as well. We do recommend having quarters (at least 4) if you plan to use lockers there to hold your items while there. Also if your little one wants to ride the carousel ride, you will need to have $1 bills. So there are 4 floors to the museum, we recommend starting on the top floor (4th floor) to see the animals and do the carousel ride. It is less busy up there, especially if you go early in the day. The 3rd floor is a playscape for kids age 5 and under (water, sand, music, and more.) This floor also has the Power of Children exhibit featuring stories of how children have made an impact like Anne Frank, Ruby Bridges, and more more. There are no graphic images, but be aware there is some content that have sensitive topes that could need further discussion with kiddos. 2nd floor had a few exhibits, Take Me to Greece and Scooby Doo (temporary exhibit). On the first floor is the Dinosphere exhibit and the Riley Sports Experience. The Dinosphere has a great combo of hands on and visual only with 2 levels of activities. The Riley Sports Experience was very fun and full of hands on activities. One odd thing was that the food count on the ground floor was out of several food items by 3:30pm, so plan ahead if you need to get food from the Food Court. Overall we enjoyed our visit, spent about 5 hours, and had more than enough time to visit everything we wanted. We drove over 2 hours to visit, but honestly probably won't visit again anytime soon. We do recommend families checking it out at least once.

This is one of the most amazing places to visit with five floors for kids, teens, adults and family to play and interact with all kinds of things with nature, life, discovery, and just plain fun for anyone. They’ve done amazing job with all the sections on all floors from memberbilla to play art and drawing. It will take you a whole 4 to 5 hours to see everything and if you want to play out on the sports complex which we didn’t even go to due to weather at the time. It is so worth your time and effort to go being the worlds largest children’s museum in the world. Go and see !!

We recently visited Indianapolis and our teenage kids suggested visiting the children’s museum . We adults were sceptical at first, especially given the somewhat steep entrance fee. But we soon discovered our inner child and had a ton of fun.

Expensive to get in. Two adults and one child was over $100. That said there is a lot to see and do. Our 5 year old seemed to have a good time, but I don’t see us going out of our way to go back. If we were local I see this being a great place to get a membership and go often, as out of towners the price seemed high.

Drove in from Kansas City specifically to do this for our family vacation. From beginning to end, the entire experience was amazing. Parking was a breeze, they skywalk from the garage to the musuem was a great touch, we bought tickets online and it sped things along quickly, all the exhibits were staffed and working properly. Outside, the staff assisting with the sports experience were all friendly and engaging with the kids. The entire day was great. A good problem to have is there’s so much to do, you have to decide what you really want to do. We showed up short after opening for the day and stayed until it was closing and didn’t make it to the top floors inside. It’s a little pricey, but well worth it

Parking garage with a walk over in to the museum. We got the best parking spot. Admission is expensive 36 dollars I believe it was. But the experience was first rate. Real dinosaur bones being exhumed at the lab. Fossils about. Items of nostalgia. Outside you are welcome to play different sporting events do not miss that. Will definitely return.

A FULL day of activities at this children's museum. Got there at 10:10 and didn't leave until 4:30 pm. So many things to do and to see. Able to bring your own food and/or drinks but some areas don't allow open drinks. The highlight of our trip was all the dinosaur bones and space/aeronautics. The cafeteria had spoiled milk and they apparently weren't aware. They allow strollers and free parking in a covered garage. Will return when my second child is older. On another note, they do have a special area for babies to play in. That was great!! Well thought of.

Went here on Tuesday with my 9 year old granddaughter. She had so much fun! First sheloved the sports activities. The young people working these activities were so warm and friendly to the kids. Next we went to the exhibits. So many fun ibteractive things to do and see. Loved the dinosaurs. Taking a tv broadcast was fun. Minecraft was cool. The Taverna at Greece exhibit was a real highlight. There were tons of kids working together to "serve the customers". They were all having so much fun! The Food Court was a little pricey but food was good and Starbucks prices about the same. Close, free parking. Other reviews mentioned crowding, but even though there were lots of people there, we were able to see all exhibit and do all activities with only a few short wants Overall a fabulous time for me and my granddaughter. So worth the money.

We spent the majority of a day wandering around the Children's Museum. We had a few free vouchers through work but would pay to go again to see the new exhibits when they are available. We were a group of adults and were able to find things of interest wherever we went.

Always a hit with our family over the past 30 years. I attended as a kid, my children loved it and now my grandchildren do too. There was something for everyone from ages 3-12. They had a ticketing software change that messed up my pre-paid tickets so was glad I arrived early to straighten it out. Don’t miss it!
