'Indiana Fever Basketball Tickets'

'The Indiana Fever plays their basketball in the WNBA's Eastern Conference. The inaugural season for the Fever was 2000 and the birth of the franchise was set in motion when the state of Indiana was granted the rights to an expansion team by the WNBA. Herb Simon, the owner of the Indiana Fever, is also the owner of the NBA's Indiana Pacers. Things started slow for the Fever who posted a 9-23 record in their first WNBA season. Expectations for the team were high the following season after the team landed Tamika Catchings in the first round of the 2001 WNBA draft. Catchings suffered a serious injury before having a chance to join the team and missed what would have been her rookie year. The team made their first playoff berth in 2002. Ten years later, the Indiana Fever became the 2012 champions of the WNBA. The team earned playoff births in 13 of the 20 years they have been members of the WNBA, including an unprecedented streak of 12 consecutive playoff births that ran from 2005 and 2016. 'Kelsey Mitchell was selected by the Fever as the No. 2 overall selection in the 2018 WNBA draft. Mitchell teamed up with a fellow rookie, Victoria Vivians, to record the most three-pointers made by a rookie duo in WNBA history with 135. Mitchell made 70 of these three-point field goals. Kelsey Mitchell put her scorer's mentality on full display from game one as a member of the WNBA and is one of only six players in league history to score 100 points in her first six games. Candice Dupree is a 13-year WNBA veteran who was acquired by the Fever in 2017 via a three-team trade. Dupree ranks 8th in WNBA history for both points and rebounds. Dupree has averaged double figures in scoring each of her 13 WNBA seasons and has posted a career average of 14.7 points along with 6.7 rebounds per game.'

'Tamika Catchings became the first player in Indiana Fever history to have her jersey retired during a June 2017 home game between the Fever and the Los Angeles Sparks. Catchings was a member of the Fever since the team's second year in existence and was an integral part of a 12-year playoff run for the Fever. Catchings received All-WNBA honors 12 times in her WNBA career and was selected 10 times to play in the WNBA All-Star Game. Once her time on the floor was complete, Tamika Catchings was the No. 1 rebounder in the history of the WNBA and the second most prolific scorer the league had ever seen.'
