Unfortunately reading the reviews, I don't have much more to add. These 2 campgrounds have just deteriorated to a place I will not return. $75/night to be disrespected & no consideration to other campers. The loud, vulgar music for hours & late into the night was basically unbearable. Could not hold a normal conversation at your own campsite. The management needs to step up & control this so that all campers are comfortable and enjoy their time there. Even though this is the inconsiderate behavior of others, management is the authority to handle such situations. Will not be back (after this year) until reviews suggest improvement in the care & mgmt of the park. Really hope the KOA company sees the problems with this campground and corrects. I don't believe they would be pleased with this situation.

WIFI HA HA HA!
Getting help at the front desk was worthless(the two girls there seemed indifferent to my question, I doubt this was the first complaint) then telling me to call the company for the pay WIFI. I wanted the free one. I called the pay guy and was told good luck even with the pay one. He said KOA supports the fee one.
TV channels we got 4
Cell reception Verizon 2 bars got some emails slowly we use Samsung S21 phones.
Young kids driving golf carts unattended all over.

Can't imagine this place in summer, Yikes.
Seems most need two sewer hoses to reach the drain in the full service sites.

This place is awesome!! My bf and I did the golf cart parade this memorial weekend and last July 4th.
We have a great time!! Drinking and music go hand in hand when camping. Kides were even singing Karokee
People complain about the golf cart parades, really? Playing music while driving the golf cart and having a good time is bad? Really? Isn't that what having a good time is all about?
I would recommend Indiana Beach Campground to my family and friends.

Rented the Ideal Cabins for 3 nights while visiting the amusement park.

The unit is desperate need of updating and deep cleaning. There’s residue from smashed bugs on the walls and cob webs. We woke up to ants crawling all over the counter ruining some of our food. They sent maintenance to spray however they were right back the next day.

The unit is in a great location. You have a perfect view of the lake and it was right next to the pool. However, the pool was not maintained. There were 3 employees on site but my daughter had to skim the debris out. One day the pool only opened for 30 minutes due to staffing issues.

The cabins are quite expensive and definitely not worth the money.

We stayed in lot 83 on the KOA side. Since our arrival, loud music and base has played all day right up to 11 pm. Calls to the front desk and security result in, “well quite hours start at 11pm”. After explaining that the extremely loud base vibrates our camper most of the day, the response is still 11pm is quite hours. Someone from the security office even admitted there has been a lot of complaints about it, but refuses to do anything until 11 pm. Save your time and money, book somewhere else because your comfort is not there priority. Will never come back…..

This is like a hyped up fair. Lots to do. Kid friendly. Counters and stuff could of been cleaned up better at restaurants but no big complaints. They didn’t have enough life guards to keep open the lazy river and beach but other than that our daughter enjoyed the park and we bought season passes.

However the campground left something to be desired. The shower house was disgusting and I think I left dirtier than when I walked in. No tiles on the floor, just mud left from the tiles. The shower spewed out water from the top of it. I had to turn the head to try and get it to not go up in the air. And the shower head doesn’t stay on. I had to hold it the whole time. The bathroom was disappointing. And there was a large group by us that played loud music the entire damn time. Hours aren’t respected. Lots of people driving through the campground - like a pontoon boat on a trailer full of people.

We booked our next camping trip at the IB KOA next door to the IB campground. Hoping to have a better experience with full hook up.

The campgrounds were pretty decent and the lot sizes were pretty big but the bath houses were absolutely disgusting. We were there 3 days for the 4th of July weekend and they only swept floors once. Did not clean anything, refill soap or toilet paper. These were the worst bath houses I have ever been in.

Not worth an extra $3.50. Long hallways totally dark, had to feel our way, seemed to be windows of some things that just weren't working, so you walked in the dark a long ways before anything happened or was visible. Steps, stairs, ramps should be lit with at least a tiny bulb for safety. Not scary, just dumb.

Indiana Beach is an iconic place in Monticello Indiana. Whether it be riding roller coasters with your kids or having ice cold beverages with friends on the boardwalk it is the best of all worlds! I have no idea of the campground as we have a lakehouse there but always a great time at the park and food venues!

we stayed at Indiana Beach campground, we called ahead and reserved a group site. we have always gotten this same site in the past so we were more than aware it should be just us at that site. We arrived late Friday night to find 2 tents and whomever was on the lot taking not one but all the fire rings and picnic tables. We decided it was 10-11 at night we could share the lot even though it was suppose to be just us on there. we back in our camper and as we are finishing setting up the group of people in the tents came back. Lets just say they were not pleased with us being there. They stood at the end of our camper arms folded. in a very threatening stance. They made it loud and clear when they said to each other IS MIKE HERE WE WILL JUST HAVE HIM COME TAKE CARE Of THEM. now mind you they had a dog who yes was on a lease but NO ONE HAD AHOLD OF THE LEASH the dog was roaming free. we had out little dogs with us so they immediately came out of our car into our camper and into there cages due to the fact we did not want anything to happen with the other dog who though it was on a lease no one had ahold of the leash nor did they have it restrained to anything. Now one of the men in the group just stood facing us for a good 5 minutes. two others got into there vehicle and just watched us , then they said WELL IF THEY THINK THEY ARE GETTING ANY SLEEP TONIGHT THEY HAVE ANOTHER THING COMING WE WILL MAKE SURE OUR DOG KEEPS THEM UP ALL NIGHT. I finally said enough is enough , we were just gonna let it go, but between there stances , glares ,comments and the fact there dog could have killed ours I had it. we went up to check in the young lady at desked asked us what we needed and was very helpful, she told us we were the only ones booked for that camp site and she would get security to come remove the people on our site.
She walked us over to security were we were greeted by a tall dark haired security guard she explained to him what lot we were on and it was just us and 2 tents were on our site and they needed to be removed. She explained to the guard about the comments these other people were making and how they were standing glaring to make us uncomfortable.
He said ok let me get Mike and we will both head to your lot to take care of removing them.. We said thank you and headed back to our campsite.
A few minutes later the dark haird security guard and another one whom I am assuming is Mike came up to our camper.
Mike asked us what the problem was and what we needed. Now this made no sense to me as we just 10 minutes up at check in with the checkin girl and the other security guard and they were well aware of what was going on.
My wife started to tell Mike the security guard the whole story, when we got there what we found how they were acting what they were saying (but not once did we mention their dog roaming free) at this time we are a good hour after we have gotten there and no one has been removed them from our campsite. We made sure to let Mike the security guard know the vehilce this other group of campers had , did not have a CAR TAG IN THERE WINDOW and that made us wonder if they should even be there. after a good 5 minutes of being away from us "MIKE" came back to let us know they would be moving campsites, now my wife simply asked are they even suppose to be in the campground because they have been threatening since we got here and we dont know how comfortable we would be sleeping if they were just a row over from us. Mike was rude and condesending , instead of assuring us we would be fine. Mike wanted to let us know that OUR DOGS need to be on a leash and that was campground rules. REALLY my wife opened the door to the camper not only where they in their cages in a camper that had both doors shut but the leashes were hanging right by the door. again MIKE had to tell us our dogs should not be running loose because the tents that were on our site had told them our dogs were. ARE YOU KIDDING ME . so we finsihed our weekend and came home. we were going to write an honest review but decided to email Indiana beach corporate page directly for them to listen to our concerns. After we got home realized that Mike there friend they were going to call on us and Mike the sercurity guard where probably the same person. and there security guards were probably letting people stay whether they paid or not. The next day we received a call from someone for the corp office. I was babbbling so my wife tried to quickly explain the situation to him. He told us he would check into to and get back with us. Now mind you a few days later my phone rings I realize it is indiana beach calling me back and before I can answer the call disconnects. So my wife says call it back they said they would check into it and let us know. I called the number back the same guy who called me from corporate days earlier answered the phone and told me IT WAS A MIS dial and hung up . WE will never stay at Indiana beach again. Security is rude and apparently runs the place and corporate well if they cared they would have called us back ,
