The newest and smallest members of the Pearson family are finally home from the hospital. Now, it’s time to gather around the table for a meal in This Is Us Season 5, Episode 10.

Before family dinners came family car rides as the entire Pearson clan experienced the nervewracking drive home from the hospital in the previous episode. In the past, Jack and Rebecca both doubted their parenting abilities because of their upbringings. However, we all know Jack and Rebecca became great parents so their fears were clearly avoided in the long run!

Also in the past was Randall as the show highlighted his drive home with Beth after Annie’s birth. After pressing for a third kid in order to have a son, Randall explained how he wanted to create “branches on his family tree.” It’s important to note that at the time, Randall did not know about William or Laurel.

In the present, Kevin and Madison had a bumpy ride home with the twins as a paparazzi photographer tailed their car. However, things turned for the better when Kevin reaffirmed his commitment to Madison with a re-proposal, which she accepted.

Finally, Kate and Toby received some sad news from Ellie, who revealed that she did not want an open adoption anymore. Toby also revealed he was laid off from his job. Surprisingly, Kate confidently shook off these developments and reassured Toby it will all be ok in the long run.

This Is Us Season 5, Episode 10 is taking the conversation from the car to the dinner table. Kate and Kevin will combine their families for a dinner that will surely reveal some secrets. On the other side of the country, Beth’s mother, Carol (Phylicia Rashad), returns to the show. Judging from the clips in the promo, the dinner will have no shortage of drama.
