Prime DK!!! You cannot go wrong! This is from their most aggressive, best received period in their career. Some of my favorite material. It was an added bonus to get the " I.G.W.T. " EP along with the Plastic Surgery Disasters album...any DK from this period is prime. Fresh Fruit was another instant classic. Long Live DK!!!

what a awesome dvd !! well to start this is basiclly a different version of the "in god we trust album" that was recorded 3 months before the one that was released .these tapes were originaly damaged so they recorded the album ep again.so with some modern technology they fix the problem .so now we end up here twenty years later are fresher versions of the songs and some kind of remastering that acually makes it 5.1 sound .along with the audio clips you get to see them play the songs live how could ya get any better than that.these guys were in there prime and really showing you there punk craft as one of the best bands at the time.so also as a bonus there are some really wild concert performances from all "in god we trust"songs spanning a 7 year period .some shot really good some shot with a blind camera guy{back when no one recorded seriously) so if ya want to see a piece of punk rock history this is the best one this year!!!!

Good DVD but doesn't realy deserve 5 stars. The studio stuff is interesting but the first 2 live songs are awful (the camera work I mean) but it does get better.

Things to watch out for, Jello getting showered with beer, Jellos explanation of Nazi Punks F**k off and religious vomit live.

One point though. Pay no more than $15 if you are in the U.S. or £8 if you are in the U.K. (it's selling for £13 in the U.K.) it's realy not worth more than that

Not bad, just not that great either.

If your a DK fan " BUY THIS DVD "
The first part of this dvd is in the studio in 1981, and shows what it's like making a punk rock record back in the day. The 2nd part is live videos from 1979-86. I really dug the live videos ( some come from old bootlegs ) but still hold up like they were shot yesterday. The songs are only from the IN GOD WE TRUST , INC album, so no songs from bedtime, frankenchrist, P.S.D.or fresh fruit but who cares, this dvd is better than The early years & DMPO. I just hope that there are more DK dvd like this on the way!!!

ps look for jello fighting during the live video of " we've got a bigger problem" crazy stuff!

Cool live-in-the-studio outtakes of the In God We Trust, Inc EP. The tunes SOUND primo but visually it is not as interesting to watch guys standing around with headphones on. The real highlights are the live versions taken from several different shows, complete with theatrics, scuffles, rants and other assorted weirdness

If there's one thing alone that makes this DVD worth it, it's Biafra on "Moral Majority" live in 1986.

Although this video has some awesome film of early dk and jello biafra you should beware when you consider purchasing this. Any dk t-shirts, dvds, or cds released after 1998 and not on the alternative tentacles label have been made with money in mind. In 1998 jello biafra, the main lyrical conspirator of dk was sued and now receives no royalties from any dk related material. The uninventive remaining members represent everything jello was singing against in the 1980's and if those lyrics mean anything to you this material should best be avoided. On the other hand this in studio performance is awesome and can be watched for free on YouTube. Do yourself a favor, and avoid handing money to the dk hypocrites.

Ich habe einige Sachen von den Dead Kennedys und muss auch bei dieser DVD sagen: Die Sachen sind von schlechter Qualität, sehr knapp zusammengestellt und viele Aufnahmen sind auf anderen Tonträgern/DVD einfach doppelt und dreifach verbraten. Fazit: wenig oder garnichts neues drauf - was nicht wo anders schon zu sehen wäre. Die abgezockten Selbstdarsteller (Flouride+BayRay) sind leider in Überlänge drauf:-) Musik zuwenig. Das ganze gilt auch für die "The Early jears live" Also wenig Geld für ausgeben oder drauf verzichten:-(
