- MojoLadGraton, CA321 contributionsWhat an art museum! So much great stuff to see from ancient Greece all the way up to the modern world. Their regular collection is first-rate, particularly their impressionists, and every time I've been there the temporary shows have been excellent. I've visited three or four times, over the years, and I still haven't seen everything the place has to offer -- they should open earlier! This time my big surprise were the Miniature Rooms, exhibit after exhibit of mind-boggling 1:12 scale craftsmanship in a variety of (mostly American) period styles. It is to wow. We also treated ourselves to a really good meal in the café.Written April 22, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Reeni01Washington DC, DC140 contributionsIt is crowded and a tourist thing, but that just makes it even more fun! Pick a spot get those cool reflecting photos, then move aside for someone else to get a spot. It is easily a 10min photo op but nothing much else.Written April 22, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Mathias n2 contributionsFun to see but the bean was fenced off for some reason put a real damper on the visit. I assume it’s either a short term project or for the winter weather. Regardless it was cool would like to see it up close next time.Written March 27, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Uccman39North Brunswick, NJ208 contributionsA wonderful place to visit on a nice day. I stopped in Chicago for the day on my way out west. Chicago is an underrated city for shopping and beautiful lake views. A couple of my favorite collections here was the Kennedy collection and all the gangster stuff. The cars are mostly the presidents cars. And having one of the cars John Dillinger used, just seriously Wow!! It took me just about 4 hours to go through this museum. There’s just so much cool stuff.Written April 19, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Mark GChicago, IL8 contributionsWe toured the Fulton-Randolph Market neighborhood tour with Lynne, who enlightened us with her broad knowledge of the historic/transformed/transforming elements of this Chicago neighborhood. As with so many CAC tours, we left with a deeper appreciation for an area we frequent quite often such that we look forward to future walks unattached to a restaurant destination. Highly recommended!Written April 21, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- shruti sChicago, IL12 contributionsThis was a surprise highlight of our trip to Galena! P.T. Murphy's show is exciting with great tricks in an intimate setting. There are no bad seats! And he really knows how to interact with the crowd - myself, my husband and my kids were all on the edge of our seats with interest, and also laughing at his jokes throughout! I totally recommend this show for all ages if you are coming to Galena!Written April 23, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Beth C13 contributionsThis distillery in the corn fields is unique, and a lot of fun. There is entertainment outside on the patio, an indoor area with tables and gifts for sale, couches and a fireplace, a separate building that can be rented, and the distillery building with tours. The staff is very friendly and the cocktails are delicious. The corn nuts are free! Can't wait to return!Written July 31, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
