Idris Elba isn't going to stand for online haters bashing fiance Sabrina Dhowre's Royal Wedding look.

After a photo of the pair, snapped as they made their way inside Sr. George's Chapel, was posted online by a fashion magazine, critics were quick to sound off about the Gucci outfit Sabrina wore to the event.

'Her outfit was all wrong and the bag didn't help,' one critic wrote.

In response, the 45-year-old actor shared a photo of himself and his future wife in their wedding outfits. The caption of the Instagram post included a conversation between them, which concluded with a bit of a humble brag and a shout out to the 'haters'. 

'Sabbi: How do I look? Me: You look beautiful Sabbi!! Lets go see Harry and Meghan get married and make history. Sabbi: Boom,' he wrote. 'I love you @!@@ the haters..#Happiness.' 

Prior to this relationship, Idris has been private about his romantic and personal life.

Who is Idris Elba?

Idris Elba, born Idrissa Akuna Elba on September 6, 1972, is a 45-year-old British actor and DJ.

He grew up in Hackney, London with his mother and father. It was during his formative years that he discovered his love of both DJing and acting. Idris started helping his uncle DJ weddings in the late 80s, eventually starting a company of his own with a few friends.

In 1988 he quit school. He won a spot in the National Youth Music Theater and landed an early acting job on Crimewatch. He also appeared on a children's show called The Boot Street Band. 

To make ends meet, he began picking up DJ gigs in nightclubs under the name DJ Big Driis.

Idris didn't land a major role until HBO's The Wire, which he appeared on from 2002 to 2004. He then appeared on six episodes of NBC's The Office. He also starred in BBC's Luther, which premiered in May 2010.

The actor has also landed a number of major film roles. He appeared in 28 Weeks Later in 2007, Obsessed, Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, The Jungle Book, The Dark Tower, Molly's Game and more.

Idris lives a rather private personal life. He's been married twice before. The first time he married was to a woman called Hanne Norgaard. They were together from 1999 to 2003.

He married again in 2006 to a woman called Sonya Nicole Hamlin. They were married for just six months in 2006. 

Idris has two children. His daughter Islan, whom he shares with Hanne, was born in 2002. His son Winston was born in 2014. 

He shares that child with ex-girlfriend Naiyana Garth, a British woman.  

Who is Sabrina Dhowre?

Sabrina Dhowre is a Canadian actress and model. She's about 29 years old, according to The Sun.

Sabrina is of Somali background, but grew up in Vancouver, Canada. 

She has made a career for herself as a beauty queen, winning the Miss Vancouver title in 2014. 

Sabrina doesn't appear to use Facebook or Instagram, though she does have a Snapchat. 

She and Idris have been together since some time in 2017. They got engaged after a short time in February 2018. 

Idris popped the question during a Yardie screening and Sabrina said yes. They have been together ever since, but have said very little about their wedding plans.

Idris Elba and his fiance Sabrina Dhowre were invited to the Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The pair were among the celebrities photographed making their way to and from the chapel. 

Idris and Sabrina were also among the few lucky folks invited to the wedding reception, which was hosted by Prince Charles. The event took place at Frogmore house and, according to reports, was not as regal as the wedding ceremony. 

Sources told Us Weekly that Idris took over the turntables during the event, playing Never Too Much by Luther Vandross while the newlywed Duchess danced with her gal pals. 

No word on where Idris Elba's fiancee was while he was playing DJ. 

Idris Elba proposal

Idris Elba proposed to his then-girlfriend Sabrina Dhowre in February 2018 at Rio Cinema in London. He popped the question in the morning ahead of a screening of his film Yardie. 

The theater posted a photo of Idris on their Twitter, writing: 'Still 5 days to Valentines Day but @IdrisElba went down on one knee and proposed to his girlfriend live on stage this morning before a preview of his film #Yardie.'

Video later surfaced from someone who was in the audience when the proposal occurred. 

Sabrina graciously accepted Idris's proposal.
