IELTS Test Report Form shows your IELTS scores for all four sections: Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking, and your Overall IELTS Band Score.

You will receive only one copy of your IELTS Test Report Form. There will be no replacements so please make sure you keep it safe.

IELTS Test Report Form has your photo on it and an inbuilt security system so as to ensure that it cannot be copied.

We will post your IELTS Test Report Form to you 13 days* after the test or have it ready for you to pick up in person. You can search for your provisional IELTS result on IDP website (https://results.ielts.org/). Your IELTS result is usually available on the 13th day of the test, and will remain available for 28 days thereafter. You will only receive one copy of your Test Report Form.

* Results for IELTS on computer are usually available in 3-5 days after you finish all components of your test. Please note that the result release day will be postponed to the next working day in the event if it falls on a Sunday or Public Holiday. Candidates will be notified if results are not available on the scheduled date.

Collect your IELTS test result

Candidates are required to collect the IELTS result in person or nominate an authorized person to collect it on your behalf at IDP Hong Kong office on the collection schedule. Authorization Form).

All uncollected test report forms will be posted by ordinary mail (local) / air mail (overseas) to the address provided in your application.

Courier Service for Your Result

You can apply for courier service at the IELTS Online Portal or over the phone. Your IELTS Test Report Form will be posted on the result release date and you will receive an email notification after it has been posted. Delivery time may vary but would normally be within 3 – 7 working days. More

Five free copies of IELTS Test Report Form

You may request, at the time of registration, to send up to five copies of your IELTS Test Report Form to the schools/institutes you are applying to. This service is free of charge and the copies will be sent electronically. There may be times when your selected organisations receive your results before you do.

These organisations may also double-check the details of your IELTS Test Report Form via our secure online database.

For additional copies or requests made 30 days AFTER the test report form release date, an administrative cost of HK $50 per copy will be charged.

Please apply through IELTS Online Portal or submit the completed form along with your original ID document to IDP Education for application in person.

IELTS Results valid for two years

Your IELTS Test Report Form will remain valid for a recommended period of two years.

It is not usual for recognising organisations to accept a IELTS Test Report Form issued more than two years ago, unless you have ample evidence to show that you have actively maintained or tried to improve your English since taking the test.
