For one this movie is WOKE FREE, which is already great for me. The movie is entertaining and keeps you interested all the way to the end. Good production and acting. Good storyline, not unique or extraordinary but good. My only problem with this movie is that they exaggerate a little the extent and capacity of modern technology. It is not one of those movies that portray modern technology as magic but still they go a little beyond.
Nevertheless, a good movie is entertaining, interesting, has plenty of eye candy, and is woke-free, so go for it.

This was a different kind of film for Piece Brosnan who I really like-- all of his work is exceptional quality, but in this film the script or plot just didn't do it for him; it was kind of slow in the beginning, became intense at different scenes later on....you could easily fit in the pieces what's coming next. I know his films face tough reviews going from James Bond to live up to his persona in future films . I look back at his some past films such as Shattered, November Man,The Matador & Survivor and compared to this film, Pierce should of skipped this one.

The problem with technology is that it can be hacked and sometimes easily hacked when you have someone who knows what they are doing. This movie showed the downside of trusting someone with your systems whether it is in the home and or on the job. The actors and actresses played their parts very well.

"Hacked - Kein Leben ist sicher" (im Original: "I.T. - Your life is not secure") aus der Hand des irischen Regisseurs John Moore ("Der Flug des Phoenix" 2004, "Das Omen" 2006, "Max Payne" 2008, " Stirb langsam V" 2013) ist ein unterhaltsamer, allerdings nicht vollends ausgereifter Cyber-Thriller.
Die Handlung fokussiert sich auf den Selfmade-Millionär Mike Regan (endlich mal wieder in alter Form überzeugend, wenngleich wenig überraschend: Pierce Brosnan), der sich mit den psychisch labilen IT-Experten Porter (etwas klischeehaft und manchmal am Rande des Overactings: James Frecheville) zum Feind macht, als er ihn nach einigen Aufdringlichkeiten zurückweist. Da sich Porter zuvor jedoch als Gast des Hauses Zugang zu Regan's komplett digitalisierter Luxus-Immobilie verschafft hat, sinnt er auf Wiedergutmachung und zerlegt über die moderne Welt der Datenverwaltung systematisch das Leben des Millionärs und von dessen Familie.
In kühlen Farben visualisiert und innerhalb eines Spannungsfeldes zwischen analoger Autarkie und digitaler Abhängigkeit angelegt, überzeugt der sich in der zweiten Hälfte seiner knapp 90 minütigen Laufzeit angenehm verdichtende Film nicht nur durch zumeist hochwertig-distanzierte Locations und moderne Settings, sondern auch durch ein zwar wenig Neues bietendes, aber gleichwohl für die Lebensrealität vieler Menschen weiterhin relevantes Geschehen.
Nachdem das durchwachsene Drehbuch anfänglich etwas holpernd und zaghaft beginnt und sich der Zuschauer möglicherweise (je nach individuellem Anspruch) vorübergehend in einem Low-Budget-Movie wähnt, werden eventuelle Zweifel an der angemessenen Qualität der knapp zwölf Millionen Doller teuren Direct-To-DVD-Veröffentlichung auch für versiertere Naturen schnell zerstreut und die Ereignisse überschlagen sich insbesondere im zweiten Teil temporeich und mit angemessenem Thrill. Die sich progressiv von Minute zu Minute steigernde Handlung mündet dabei in einem überzeugend intensiven und relativ brutalen Finale.
Der im 2.39:1-Seitenverhältnis abgedrehte Thriller, der die letzte offizielle Produktion vor dem Tod von Beau St. Clair als jahrzehntelange Arbeitspartnerin von Pierce Brosnan in deren gemeinsamer Produktionsfirma "Irish DreamTime" darstellt, bietet sich insgesamt auf wirklich gutem, routiniertem Niveau dar, ohne jedoch Überdurchschnittliches aufzuweisen. Etliche Fragmente dürften routinierten Filmfans bereits aus anderen Filmen bekannt sein, wobei manches immerhin zumindest verfeinert oder dezent abgeändert wurde. Die Kameraführung und die Synchronisation werden auch höheren Ansprüchen gerecht und die Leistungen der Schauspieler können weitestgehend überzeugen.
- - - Fazit: "Hacked - Kein Leben ist sicher" zählt nicht zu den Meilensteinen des Genres, bietet aber solide Kost für Thriller-Fans. Das 'Oldschool-Meets-Newschool'-Paradigma bietet trotz vielfacher cineastischer Beiträge weiterhin genügend unbequeme Kontroversen. Inszenator John Moore, der glücklicherweise zugunsten einer höheren Budgetierung den zunächst vorgesehenen, hierzulande eher unbekannten italienischen Regisseur Stefano Sollima ersetzt hat, muss sich allerdings die Kritik gefallen lassen, dass der vorliegende Film ziemlich wenig Eigenständigkeit bereit hält. Die darauf zurückzuführende Vorhersehbarkeit des nach der Neubesetzung des Regisseurs von William Wisher Jr. überarbeiteten Drehbuchs ("Terminator 2", "Judge Dredd", "The 13th Warrior"), die sich beflissenen Filmexperten in Form des einen oder anderen Déjà-vus aufzwängt, stiehlt der zumindest streckenweise fesselnden Handlung unnötigerweise Einiges an Drive.
Sammler und Gelegenheitskonsumenten mit nicht zu hoch angesetzten Ansprüchen dürften mit diesem unterhaltsamen Cyber-Thriller für zwischendurch durchaus zufriedenstellend unterhalten werden. Für die ersten knapp zehn bis zwanzig Minuten muss man allerdings etwas Geduld aufbringen, bis "Hacked - Kein Leben ist sicher" verhaltene Gewässer verlässt und Fahrt aufnimmt.

Mike Regan (Pierce Brosnan) verkörpert den Self-Made Millionär, seine Firma floriert, die Geschäfte laufen gut.
Er hat eine tolle Familie, eine attraktive Tochter und sein Leben könnte kaum besser sein.
Als Hightech Fan hat er natürlich auch sein privates Heim "Smart" ausgestattet.

Als W-Lan Probleme auftreten, bittet er einen seiner Angestellten sich das Problem mal anzusehen;
Und holt sich damit den Feind ins eigene Haus.

Pierce Brosnan spielt die Rolle sehr gut, und vor allem Glaubhaft. Die anderen Darsteller fügen sich aber auch gut ein.
Die Story ist sicherlich nicht so neu, aber was daraus gemacht wurde ist sehr unterhaltsam.
Es entwickelt sich ein Katz und Maus Spiel, wo jeder meint dem anderen vorraus zu sein.

Die Technischen Aspekte die in diesem Film sind nachvollziehbar, bis auf 1-2 Aspekte die nicht so vorstellbar sind.
Alles in Allem ein Spannender High-Tech Thriller mit einem sehr gutem Pierce Brosnan, der zeigt das er es immer noch kann.

I liked this movie because it was very suspenseful. It left you wondering what was going to happen next. The story is about an executive who gets a temporary IT employee to come to his home to fix some issues with his home Internet. However, he doesn't realize that the employee isn't as mentally well-balanced or as nice as he appears. Unfortunately the executive has a smart home with screens in each room which the employee hacks into. There are some unexpected events and until the executive & employee ultimately resolve the situation. This is definitely worth watching.
