The owners of much-loved La Fantaisie in Paris are now opening Casa Monti, a new 36-room hotel hidden in the arty neighborhood of Rione Monti (a 10-minute walk from Termini station). The hotel has plenty of creative vibes: designed by Laura Gonzalez, the interiors feature maximalist flocked wallpaper and plenty of contemporary artworks across the 36 rooms to keep you inspired. New for Country Pursuits: The Pig-on the farm, Stratford Upon Avon
Head to the latest opening from the Pig Group, coming in the autumn. A listed 16th-century Manor House set in 53 acres of verdant countryside near Shakespeare's home town, offering 35 idyllic ensuite bedrooms, the requisite 25-mile menu and three shepherd’s-hut treatment rooms. Pull up your wellies to end 2024 with a bang.
New for City Break: Rosewood, Amsterdam
