Definitely in top 3 from Bucharest. Extremely interactive and fun rooms, but also interesting stories.
I always laughed with my friends and the experience was always compelx. It is obvious that a great deal of passion and work was involved in the creation of every room.

If you know a thing or two about escape rooms, you cannot miss the Haunted Hotel! It is by far the best game we’ve ever played, and we played a lot! You can tell they have put a lot of effort into designing this one, from décor to puzzles to effects to story… The game is quite difficult. Some of the puzzles are very out of the box and subtle and we appreciated the originality and the fact that we can still get surprised by new ideas even after playing so many rooms in which puzzles tend to repeat in some way. We escaped with 2 minutes left on the clock (and zero hints), but this was by far the best experience we ever had in an escape room. The hosts are very nice and welcoming and I think it shows that they are very passionate about their job!

It was my first escape room experience and it was totally awesome. We were a group of four and we chose Haunted Hotel. I totally recommend it for those who like novels and/or movies, involving creepy stuff. It was really fun and team work helped us solve the mystery of the room quite quickly. We will surely go back to check the other games!

I was very impressed by the effort put into creating a seamless, immersive experience. The reception staff was very professional at interacting with us before and after the room. I was left with a pleasant aftertaste. It is one of the best rooms in Bucharest, the Haunted Hotel I mean, and I am looking forward to experiencing all of the other rooms at this location.

We visited the location 3rd times so far and had a great time, especially playing The haunted hotel room. Sergiu, our host, is a great storyteller and he created a nice atmosphere that introduced us in the theme of each of the rooms we played. We genuinely enjoyed the rooms like nowhere else in the city and left every time with a good vibe and the thought that we all managed to be part of the story.

They are the most professional escape house in Bucharest, in my opinion, and I played 36 rooms until now. They really focus on the experience, rather than just playing to win. I fully recommend them! I liked a lot The Haunted Hotel, but still, everytime somebody asks me for my favorite room, I tell them about “Not another vampire story”, the room in which I had the most fun. I can’t wait to go back and play the other rooms that are left.

This was definitely one of the best escape rooms I have evern been to. The way the experience combined mechanics with human interactions was seamless. I highly recommend it to everyone who wants to see the world through the eyes of "Al Capone".:) cheers!

First of all, the game master is tip top. He explained everything really nicely, he payed attention to us all the time and he managed to emerge us into the game instantly. The decorations are really nice, the music is appropriate and the puzzles are smart and well made. Would totally recommend!

There is no favorite part with these guys. The whole experience is fun, engaging and overall awesome. I just don't have the words to express how great their escape rooms are. I have played all of them, even ones they have already changed. If you have the time and nerve, just book all the rooms in a single day and do them in one swoop.

I've been to escape rooms since they first started in town. Therefore, I have been to all Codex rooms from the beginning until now.
All the experiences were successful because they constantly brought improvements in each new room.
The last room I played with my girlfriend was The Haunted Hotel. There could not be a better choice for a 2 member team. Focusing not only on the decor but also on visual and sound effects, the mechanics of the puzzles, the inclusion of the games in the story of the room, offered an authentic experience.
We felt like actors in a movie.
All the experiences were successful because they constantly brought improvements in each new room.
