First u assign ur right or left short key to password lock , then go to options >password, enable and set ur password and save it. now go to home screen and press ur short cut key either right or left one which were u have set, ur phone will get locked.. now press the optical pad it will ask for the password to unlock ur phone...type the password and ur phone will get unlocked.

The Gmail icon on the desktop of BB curve 8250 looks dull. It is colorless (a black & white envelope globe). Yahoo icon has a nice purple Y over the envelope. I expected the Gmail icon to carry the red lines just like the icon on my PC.

Go to the top of the screen and drag it down you should be able to click on the button that resembles gps button, If unable to there you can go into the menu and connect through connectivity.
